A. LATAR BELAKANG

Ujian praktek Bahasa Inggris merupakan suatu ujian yang dilaksanakan secara rutin tiap tahun yang berfungsi sebagai alat ukur proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan setelah siswa menempuh mata pelajaran selama 2.5 tahun. Adapun latar belakang penyusunan pedoman pelaksanaan ujian prraktek Bahasa Inggris ini adalah salah sattu bagian dari ketertiban administrative guru yang harus dilaksanakan sebagai tugas yang melekat padanya dan sekaligus sebagai paparan rencana dari kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan.

B. PESERTA

Peserta Ujian Praktek Bahasa Inggris ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPA dan IPS SMA Alhikmah Sirampog berjumlah 127 putra sebanyak 47 siswa dan 80 siswi.

C. TANGGAL DAN TEMPAT PELAKSANAAN

a. Hari/Tanggal Pelaksanaan: 23 Januari s.d 30 Februari 2016

b. Tempat Pelaksanaan : Laboratorium Bahasa SMA Al Hikmah

D. MATERI UJIAN PRAKTEK

Adapun materi Ujian Bahasa Inggris SMA Al Hikmah tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 ini meliputi 4 skill bahasa, yaitu Listening, Reading, Speaking dan Writing.

E. METODE PENILAIAN

Metode penilaian yang akan dilaksanakan dalam ujian praktek Bahasa Inggris ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode berdasarkan masing-masing skill yang diujikan

1. Listening

Ketepatan dalam menjawab teks rumpang yang ada di dalam percakapan.

2. Reading

Comprehension, Fluency, Pronunciations, Intonation, Punctuation.

3. Speaking

Fluency, Structure, Pronunciation, Intonation

4. Writing

a. Content (isi karangan/tulisan)b. Grammar dan Structure kalimat (tata bahasa yang benar)c. Terdiri dari minimal 2 paragraph dan maximal 3 paragrap (kurang lebih 200 kata).d. Vocabulary (kosakata yang tepat).e. Coherency (hubungan antar kalimat).f. Neatness, punctuation, dan capitalization (kerapihan tulisan, tanda baca dan huruf

besar yang benar).

3. Indikator:Diperdengarkan sebuah percakapan, siswa dapat menemukan gambaran umum yang sesuai dengan isi percakapan.

B. Reading1. SKL:

Siswa mampu mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan pendek berbentuk texs fungsional pendek dan teks monolog sederhana berbentuk narative, recount, news item, report, descriptive, explanation dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari.

2. Ruang lingkup materi:Teks essay berbentuk Narrative

3. Indikator:Siswa dapat membaca dan memahami dengan menggunakan tindak tutur menyampaikan informasi dan menunjukan perasaan dalam membawakan sebuah topik/cerita yang akan diujikan secara mandiri.

4. Topik yang akan diujikan:Text Narrative berjudul “The Signalman” – a ghost story by Charles Dickens

5. Kriteria Penilaian:1. Comprehension.2. Fluency.3. Pronunciations4. Intonation.

C. Speaking1. SKL:

Siswa mampu mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan pendek berbentuk texs fungsional pendek dan teks monolog sederhana berbentuk narative, recount, news item, report, descriptive, explanation dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari.

3. Indikator:Siswa diberikan beberapa topik dan memilih salah satu topik dan menulis salah satu topik berbentuk recount dengan menggunakan koherensi, grammar, ejaan, tata tulis dan kosa kata yang berterima.

B. STRUCTURE AND WRITTEN EXPRESSIONThe structure and written expression is designed to measure your ability to recognize language that is appropriate for standard written English. There are two types of questions in this section, with special directions for each type.

Part A: Structure

Directions : Question 1-15 are incomplete sentences. Beneath each sentence you will see for words or phrases, marked (A), (B), (C) and (D). You are to choose one word or phrase that best complete the sentence.Example IThe swimming instructor came... if the apartment was still available.
