    diperlukan pada penggambaran yang meliputi : nomor jalur danukuran pipa, spesifikasi bahan, komponen pipa, komponeninstrumentasi, arah aliran, peralatan umum dan khusus,keterangan umum dan khusus yang diperlukan.

    6. Penggambaran P & ID harus menggunakan identifikasi, kode-kode,simbol-simbol, standar, spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan untuksetiap pelayanan

    7. Setiap jalur yang melintang harus disepakati apakah jalur horizontalatau vertikal yang dipotong pada penggambaran

    8. Penyusunan peralatan seperti bejana-bejana, drum-drum, peralatanpengubah panas, peralatan pemasan kesemuanya ini sedapatmungkin dibuat disebelas atas gambar

    9. Penyusunan pompa-pompa, kompresor-kompresor dan mesinsejenisnya dibuat disebelah bawah gambar
