1. Purpose

This document has been prepared to fulfill the need of power

installation (DC and AC power) of Indosat Metro Ethernet for CellularNetwork devices which will be conducted at Cihideung site.

2. Work Information

3. Outage

This work will be done in the Live System. This kind of work will notcause any outage / interrupt for existing equipment which takingsource from the existing rectifier.

4. DC Power Installation

The DC power will be connected to existing rectifier based on projectsurvey result and agreement with PT. Indosat.

Step by step work details consist of 2 parts based on cabling structureand condition on the site.

DC power installation steps as follows:

4.1 Cabling Structure Using Cable Tray

• Preparing DC power installation materials as mentioned onproject’s BoQ.

• Preparing tools.

• Installing DC PDB on the new rack, if there is any.

• Installing MCBs on DC PDB based on the device requirements. The requirements as follow :- 7450 ESS-6 = 63A

• Preparing and laying the power cable based on the devicerequirements (10, 16, atau 50mm) from DC PDB on the rack tothe rectifier or PDU (and/or DC PDB) as pre-defined through aproper power cable path.

• Putting label on power cable on every 2 meters of its length,which shows the same label description with the other end of cable.

• Putting a proper cable lug on every cable end-point.

• Connecting power cable on power entry modules of the device.

• Checking and measuring DC voltage, current and polarity

condition on rectifier/PDU as pre-defined.• Connecting power cable on the rectifier/PDU to bus bar or the

distribution MCB as pre-defined. This process has to besupervised and under the direction of PT. Indosat fieldsupervisor.

• Tidiness.




4.2 Cabling Structure Using Raised Floor

The steps are similar with the installation using cable tray on theprevious section (4.1). However, on this kind of installation we have

to open the raised floor tiles or enclosures one by one whilst notinterrupting existing racks or devices.

The power cable will be connected through the power cable path onthe raised floor, if there is any. If not, the path of cable power willnot be mixed with data cables.

This power installation of Indosat Metro for Cellular Network device willbe done by PT. Datacomm Diangraha Installation Team and has to besupervised by authorized PT. Indosat Team, and the schedule shall beproposed in advance to PT. Indosat.

Upon the completion of the works, PT. Datacomm Diangrahainstallation team shall inform to PT. Indosat and that the powerinstallation has been completed

7. Coordination Process

For proposing implementation schedule, working Permit, and PT.Indosat field supervisor that will accompany PT. Datacomm installation

team, coordination shall be made to PT. Indosat in order to getapproval.
