Pendidikan AkademikPendidikan akademik bertujuan menyiapkan peserta didik untuk menjadi anggota masyarakat yang memiliki kemampuan akdemik dalam menerapkan, mengembangkan, dan/atau memperkaya khasanah ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan/atau kesenian, serta menyebarluaskan dan mengupayakan penggunaannya untuk meningkatkan taraf kehidupan masyarakat dan memperkaya kebudayaan nasional.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 2 Ayat (1)

Ciri Lulusan Program MagisterProgram magister diarahkan pada hasil lulusan yang memiliki ciri-ciri sebagai berikut: cirimempunvai kemampuan mengembangkan dan a) memutakhirkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan/atau kesenian dengan cara menguasai dan memahami, pendekatan, metode, kaidah ilmiah disertai ketrampilan penerapannya; b) mempunyai keinampuan rnemecahkan permasalahan di bidang keahliannya melalui kegiatan penelitian dan pengembangan berdasarkan kaidah ilmiah: mempunyai kemampuan mengembangkan kinerja c) profesionalnya yang ditunjukkan dengan ketajaman analisis permasalahan, keserbacakupan tinjauan, kepaduan pemecahan masalah atau profesi yang serupa;Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 3 Ayat (3)

Beban Studi Program MagisterBeban studi program magister sekurangkurangnya 36 (tiga puluh enam) SKS dan sebanyak-banyaknya 50 (lima puluh) SKS yang dijadwalkan untuk 4 (empat) semester dan dapat ditempuh dalam waktu kurang dan 4 (empat) semester dan selamalamanya 10 (sepuluh) semester termasuk penyusunan tesis, setelah program sarjana, atau yang sederajat.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 5 Ayat (2)

Kurikulum IntiKurikulum inti merupakan kelompok bahan kajian dan pelajaran yang harus dicakup dalam suatu program studi yang dirumuskan dalam kurikulum yang berlaku secara nasional. Kurikulum inti terdiri atas kelompok rnatakuliah pengembangan kepribadian, kelompok mata kuliah yang mencirikan tujuan pendidikan dalam bentuk penciri ilmu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan, keahlian berkarya, sikap berperilaku dalam berkarya. dan cara berkehidupan bermasyarakat, sebagai persyaratan minimal yang harus dicapai peserta didik dalam penyelesaian suatu programstudi.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 7 Ayat (2), (3)

Kurikulum InstitusionalKurikulum institusional merupakan sejumlah bahan kajian dan pelajaran yang merupakan bagian dan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi, terdiri atas tambahan dan kelompok ilmu dalam kurikulum inti yang disusun dengan memperhatikan keadaan dan kebutuhan lingkungan serta ciri khas perguruan tinggi yang bersangkutan.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 7 Ayat (4)

Yang Menetapkan KurikulumKurikulum inti untuk setiap program studi pada program sarjana, program magister, program doktor, dan program diploma ditetapkan oleh Menteri. Kurikulum institusional untuk setiap program studi pada program sarjana, program magister, program doktor, dan program diploma ditetapkan oleh masing-masing perguruan tinggi.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 232/U/2000 Pasal 11 Ayat (1), (2)

KompetensiDalam Keputusan ini yang dimaksud dengan Kompetensi adalah seperangkat tindakan cerdas, penuh tanggungjawab yang dimiliki seseorang sebagai syarat untuk dianggap mampu oleh masyarakat dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas di bidang pekerjaan tertentu.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 045/U/2002 Pasal 1

Elemen-elemen Kompetensilandasan kepribadian; penguasaan ilmu dan keterampilan; kemampuan berkarya; sikap dan perilaku dalam berkarya menurut tingkat keahlian berdasarkan ilmu dan keterampilan yang dikuasai; pemahaman kaidah berkehidupan bermasyarakat sesuai dengan pilihan keahlian dalam berkarya.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 045/U/2002 Pasal 2

Isi Kurikulum IntiKurikulum inti suatu program studi berisikan keterangan/penjelasan mengenai:nama program studi; ciri khas kompetensi utama sebagai pembeda antara program studi satu dengan lainnya; fasilitas utama yang diperlukan untuk penyelenggaraan program studi; studi; persyaratan akademis dosen; substansi kajian kompetensi utama yang dikelompokkan menurut elemen kompetensi; proses belajar mengajar dan bahan kajian untuk mencapai elemenelemenelemen kompetensi; sistem evaluasi berdasarkan kompetensi; kelompok masyarakat pemrakarsa kurikulum inti.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 045/U/2002 Pasal 4

Yang Menetapkan Kurikulum IntiPenyusunan kurikulum inti untuk setiap program studi pada program sarjana, program Pascasarjana, dan program diploma berpedoman pada Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 232/U/2000 tentang Pedoman Penyusunan Kurikulum Pendidikan Tinggi dan Penilaian Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa dan ketentuan yang diatur dalam Keputusan ini. Menteri Pendidikan Nasional tidak menetapkan kurikulum inti untuk setiap program studi sebagaimana yang diatur pada pasal 11 ayat (1) Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 232/U/2000, dan selanjutnya ditetapkan oleh kalangan perguruan tinggi bersama masyarakat profesi dan pengguna lulusan. lulusan.Kepmendiknas RI Nomor 045/U/2002 Pasal 6
