Current Entrepreneurship Education
• Over 95% of companies in ASEAN are SMEs with less than 10 employees.
• Business major seniors in colleges are capable ofadvising SMEs.
• Most ASEAN universities have entrepreneurshipeducation which is very theoretical.
• And they do not cover the relevant topics such as how to manage local SMEs in ASEAN
• Most ASEAN universities teach entrepreneurship using text books which are not relevant to ASEAN economic conditions.

COBLASConsulting-Based Learning for ASEAN SMEs
• Developed from Japanese Experience
• The original concept of COBLASentrepreneurship course was introduced by Prof. Takeru Ohe in 2003 at Waseda University as an MBA entrepreneurship course.
• Students were assigned to help local SMEs as aterm project in an old district of Tokyo
