ADVANTAGES SOLI has the potential to connect our bodies with the virtual
and unify our movements with the physical environment.
It is extremely reliable and robust and it has no moving parts and no lenses.
we have a way of interacting that can become invisible.
APPLICATIONS Wearable tech, smartwatches, augmented reality.
Precise, fine movements for simple controls.
Cost effective to implement in simple devices.
CONCLUSION Project SOLI uses radar emitting microchip to recognize
finger movements and thus it can be embedded into almost anything like smart-watches, phones, cars, computers, toys, etc.
Camera based gesture control systems require extra hardware and can recognize limited slow motion gestures.
Project SOLI will be of immense help to the visually impaired people .
