Langkah -2 : Kedalaman hujan yang diperoleh dari langkah-1 dikonversi menjadi intensitas curah hujan yaitu dari perkalian antara tinggi hujan dengan 60 menit dibagi durasi hujan ybs. Hasil perhitungan dapat dilihat pada tabel-2.

MisalBila besarnya curah hujan selama 5 menit = 20 mm, maka intensitasnya adalah 20 dikali dengan 60 di bagi durasi ybs.Hasilnya = (20/5)*60 =240 mm/jam
