Laporan Teks: Upacara Teh Jepang Upa car a min um teh ya ng diseb ut sado rit ual tra disional Jep ang dalam menyajikan teh untuk tamu. Pada zaman kuno disebut sado atau cha no yu. Upacara  yang diadakan di l uar ruangan teh d isebut  Nodate. Teh disiapkan secara khusus oleh orang-orang yang belajar seni upacara minum teh dan menikmati sekelompok tamu istimewa di ruang teh yang disebut Chashitsu. Tuan rumah juga bertanggung jawab untuk mempersiapkan situasi bagi para tamu seperti memilih lukisan dinding (kakejiku),  bunga (Chabana), dan mangkuk keramik yang sesuai dengan musim dan tamu diundang statusnya. Upacara minum teh yang disebut sado  ritual tradisional Jepang dalammenyajikan teh untuk tamu. Pada zaman kuno disebut sado atau cha no yu. Upacara yang diadakan di luar ruangan teh disebut Nodate.

Teh disiapkan secara khusus oleh orang-orang yang belajar seni upacara minumteh dan menikmati sekelompok tamu istimewa di ruang teh yang disebut Chashitsu.Tuan rumah juga bertanggung jawab untuk mempersiapkan situasi bagi para tamuseperti memilih lukisan dinding (kakejiku), bunga (Chabana), dan mangkuk keramikyang sesuai dengan musim dan tamu diundang statusnya.

Teh tidak hanya dituangkan dengan air panas dan diminum, tapi sebagai

seni dalam arti luas. Upacara minum teh mencerminkan kepribadian host danpengetahuan yang mencakup, antara lain, tujuan hidup, cara berpikir, agama, tehapresiasi peralatan upacara dan bagaimana untuk menempatkan karya seni di ruangupacara minum teh (Chashitsu) dan berbagai pengetahuan seni di umum tergantungpada aliran memeluk upacara minum teh.
