Membatasi asupan garam dapur hingga 3 gram per hari

Membatasi bahan aditif pangan yang kaya Na seperti MSG dan 7S (snack, saus (tomat, kecap, taico), sup kaleng, salted meat/fish, smoked meat/fish (ikan/daging asap), seasonings (bumbu kaya MSG), sauerkraut (acar dan sayur asin).

Meningkatkan konsumsi makanan tinggi serat (sayur,buah dsb.)
