Sandy Bridge Donates 20% of Intel's Desktop

CALIFORNIA - Intel reportedly will present Sandy Bridge CPU CCES in January 2011. Intel reportedlyalso would reap similar success from the previous generation chip.

According to sources from the makers of motherboards, processors Sandy Bridge will contribute 20percent of Intel's desktop line in the first quarter of 2011. Added by him, some motherboard makers arepreparing motherboard compatible 6-series aimed at the consumer market.

The motherboard makers expect new products to contribute to robust gains in shipments in the first half of2011.

Just like previous processors, this new chip promises faster than their predecessors, but the bottom line istheir floating point capabilities that will open doors to new opportunities.

At the Sandy Bridge, Intel Turbo Boost also provides technology better. This feature will automaticallymove or relocate the resources or the graphics processor to enhance performance directly whenevernecessary.

In terms of graphics, technology that provided the focus to the areas most commonly used by computerusers today. The use include HD video, stereo 3D, gaming mainstream, multi-tasiking, multimedia, andsocial networking. Graphics on Sandy Bridge also supports DirectX 11.

CALIFORNIA - Intel dikabarkan akan menghadirkan CPU Sandy Bridge CCES pada bulan Januari 2011mendatang. Dikabarkan Intel pun bakal menuai sukses yang serupa dari garis chip generasi sebelumnya.

Menurut sumber dari pembuat motherboard, prosesor Sandy Bridge akan menyumbang 20 persen darilini desktop Intel pada kuartal pertama tahun 2011 mendatang. Ditambahkan olehnya, beberapa pembuatmotherboard tengah mempersiapkan motherboard 6-series yang kompatibel yang ditujukan untuk pasarkonsumen.

Para pembuat motherboard mengharapkan produk baru untuk memberikan kontribusi keuntungan yangkuat dalam pengiriman pada paruh pertama tahun 2011.

Jajaran prosesor Sandy Bridge akan dilengkapi dengan arsitektur cincin yang memungkinkan chip grafisterintegrasi untuk berbagi sumber daya seperti cache dengan core prosesor untuk meningkatkankemampuan komputasi dan grafis sambil tetap menjaga efisiensi energi.

Pada Sandy Bridge, Intel juga menyediakan teknologi Turbo Boost yang lebih baik. Fitur ini akan secaraotomatis memindahkan atau merelokasikan sumber daya prosesor ataupun grafis untuk meningkatkanperforma secara langsung tiap kali dibutuhkan.
