>DASARTEORI.
Uji lengkung (bending test) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengujian untukmenentukanmutusuatumaterialsecaravisual.Selainituujibendingdigunakanuntuk mengukur kekuatan material akibat pembebanan dan kekenyalan hasilsambungan las baik diweldmetalmaupunHAZ.Dalampemberianbebandanpenentuandimensimandreladabeberapafactoryangharusdiperhatikan,yaitu:1.Kekuatantarik(TensileStrength)2.KomposisikimiadanstrukturmikroterutamakandunganMndanC.3.Teganganluluh(yield).
Berdasarkanposisipengambilanspesimen,ujibendingdibedakanmenjadi2yaitutransversalbendingdanlongitudinalbending.
5.1.1.TransversalBending.Padatransversalbendingini,pengambilanspesimentegaklurusdenganarah
pengelasan. Berdasarkan arah pembebanan dan lokasi pengamatan, pengujiantransversalbendingdibagimenjaditiga:
a.FaceBend(Bendingpadapermukaanlas)Dikatakan Face Bend jika bending dilakukan sehingga permukaan las
mengalami tegangan tarikdandasar lasmengalami tegangan tekan (gambar5.1). Pengamatan dilakukan pada permukaan las yangmengalami tegangantarik.Apakahtimbulretakatautidak.Jikatimbulretakdimanakahletaknya,apakahdiweldmetal,HAZataudi fussion line (garisperbatasanWMdanHAZ).
