Puji dan Syukur penulias panjatkan atas kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,
karena atas berkat, rahmat serta karunia-Nya, penulis dapat menyelesaikan tugas akhir
berjudul “RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PROYEK
JARINGAN FIBER OPTIK”.
Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah sebagai salah satu syarat
menyelesaikan studi tingkat Strata 1 (S1) di fakultas teknik informatika Universitas
17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Penulis menyadari bahwa tugas akhir ini tidak akan
terselesaikan tanpa bantuan, dukungan serta bimbingan dari berbagai pihak. Oleh
karena itu dengan kerendahan hati, penulis ingin mengucapkan terimakasih yang

Proyek Jaringan Kabel Fiber Optik
Pekerjaan proyek jaringan kabel fiber optik merupakan salah satu jenis usaha
dari PT. Telkom Akses. Hal yang penting dalam keberlangsungan sebuah perusahaan
yaitu bagaimana perusahaan dapat mengelola atau memanajemen proyek yang ada di
lapangan. Saat ini di perusahaan tersebut belum ada sistem yang membantu seorang
manajer dalam memantau progres proyek yang ada di lapangan. Sehingga masih
menggunakan cara manual dengan menghubungi satu-persatu pengawas lapangan
yang ditugaskan mengawasi sebuah proyek dengan cara via telepon maupun via
chatting. Cara tersebut dinilai kurang efektif dan kurang efisien, sehingga bisa terjadi
miskomunikasi antar unit bagian.
Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian CDM atau Critical Path Method
yaitu sebuah teknik dalam menganalisa aktivitas-aktivitas pada saat menjalankan
proyek dalam rangka memprediksi durasi total pengerjaan proyek serta menentukan
jalur kritis yang terdapat pada suatu proyek. Sehingga hasil penelitian tersebut bisa
menjadi bahan penunjang untuk pembuatan sistem informasi manajemen proyek
jaringan kabel fiber optik.
Sistem informasi manajemen proyek jaringan kabel fiber optik yang akan
dirancang dan dibangun menggunakan metode agile scrum akan sangat membantu
sebuah perusahaan dalam mengelola dan memonitor proyek yang ada di lapangan.
Dengan demikian demikian proyek yang ditangani akan lebih efektif dan efisien
dalam pengelolaannya.

Fiber optic cable network project work is one type of business from PT.
Telkom Access. The important thing in the sustainability of a company is how the
company can manage or manage projects in the field. At present the company does
not have a system to assist a manager in monitoring the progress of projects in the
field. So that it still uses the manual method by contacting one by one field supervisor
assigned to oversee a project by telephone or via chat. This method is considered
ineffective and inefficient, so miscommunication can occur between unit units.
By using the CDM research method or Critical Path Method which is a
technique in analyzing activities when running a project in order to predict the total
duration of project work and determine the critical path contained in a project. So that
the results of this research can be a supporting material for the manufacture of project
management information systems for fiber optic cable networks.
Project management information system for fiber optic cable networks that
will be designed and built using the Agile Scrum method will greatly assist a company
in managing and monitoring projects in the field. Thus the project handled will be
more effective and efficient in its management.
