Fungsi produksi secara umum berkaitan dengan proses mengubah bahan baku menjadi produk

 jadi dengan memanfaatan sumber daya yang tersedia secara efisien. Fungsi produksimemerlukan suatu pengendalian agar aktivitas produksi mencapai tingkat efektivitas. Untuk itu

 perusahaan membutuhkan suatu alat yang dapat mengendalikan serta mengawasi jalannya fungsi produksi agar aktivitas produksi dapat terkendali dan mencapai target produksi yang telah

ditetapkan. Audit manajemen terhadap fungsi produksi merupakan solusi bagi perusahaan untuk

dapat mengetahui apakah fungsi-fungsi manajemen perusahaan dalam hal ini fungsi produksi

telah dilaksanakan secara efektif.Jenis penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitian yang bersifat studi kasus, yaitu jenis

 penelitian yang berisikan paparan atau data yang relevan dari hasil penelitian pada obyek penelitian yang mencoba mengetahui dan memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan.

Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, dengan tahap-tahap analisis yaitumeliputi: merumuskan maksud dan tujuan, menentukan ruang lingkup audit, melakukan audit

 pendahuluan, menyusun program dan prosedur audit, melaksanakan audit yang telah ditetapkandan mengelola dan menganalisis laporan ikthisar temuan.

Hasil pemeriksaan manajemen terhadap fungsi produksi pada perusahaan Rokok Lembang JayaMalang dapat diketahui bahwa perencanaan produksi (production planning) yang meliputi

 penilaian atas idle capacity, achievement rate, inventory level dapat diketahui bahwa mesin-

mesin yang digunakan perusahaan untuk proses produksi memiliki tingkat produktivitas yangtinggi. Mengenai kapasitas mesin yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan mampu memenuhi kapasitasyang benar-benar terjadi dan perusahaan dalam melakukan pengendalian persediaan telah

mampu dengan baik. Analisis terhadap quality control dapat membuktikan bahwa penyebabterjadinya kerusakan produk adalah bentuk yang tidak sesuai, selanjutnya kepadatan kurang dan

lain-lain akibat kesalahan dalam melakukan proses produksi dengan total unit yang reject pada bulan April prosentase service rate menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Hasil pengukuran tingkat

efisiensi dan efektivitas fungsi produksi dapat diketahui bahwa perusahaan telah melakukanaktivitas perusahaan secara efektif dan efisien yang dibuktikan dengan tingkat produktivitas

kerja karyawan menunjukkan prosentase yang tinggi. Perusahaan juga memberikan fasilitas kerjayang baik, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan maupun kenyamanan tempat kerja para

karyawan. Analisis terhadap organisasi manajemen produksi menunjukkan bahwa perusahaantelah menetapkan tujuan atau sasaran bagian produksi yang harus tercapai dalam rangka

menjamin pelaksaan kerja secara efektif dan efisien, namun demikian terdapat faktor yang dapatmenghambat pelaksanan kerja tersebut adalah tingkat absensi dan turn over para pegawai

menunjukkan adanya peningkatan.

The function of production generally relates to the process of changing raw material into finished product through the efficient management of resource. This function needs a control to ensure

the effectiveness of production activity. Therefore, the company demands a device to control orto supervise the function of production such that the production activity can be controlled and the

 production objective may be decided. Management audit upon production function represents a

solution for the company to understand whether the function of company management, preciselythe function of production, can be conducted effectively.Case study constitutes the type of research. It contains explanations or relevant data about

research object while it attempts to understand and to solve the problems faced by the company.Data collection method uses documentation involving analysis steps such as: the formulation of

 purpose and objective, the determination of audit scope, the implementation of preliminary audit,the preparation of audit program and procedure, the implementation of predetermined audit, and

the analysis of finding summary report.Results of examining the management of production function in the company of Rokok

Lembang Jaya Malang indicate that the production planning including the judgment upon idlecapacity, achievement rate, and inventory level ensures that machines used by the company for

 production process have high productivity rate. The company machines seem able to meet thecapacity and it facilitates the company to control the supply well. The analysis on quality control

confirms that the cause of product damage refers to the unsuitable shape, less compactness, andothers from mistaken production process with the increasing rejected unit total according to the

 percentage of service rate in April. Results of measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of production function can be ascertained that the company brings out its activity efficiently and

effectively showing high percentage of employee’s work productivity rate. The company provides favorable work facility to improve the security and comfort for the employee. The

analysis on the organization of production management ascertains that the company hasdetermined the objective of production division in order to implement the work effectively and

efficiently but some factors put the barrier against this implementation among other theincreasing employee’s absenteeism and turnover.
