    label is a marketing tool. It is not a statement about

    food safety. Nor is organic a value judgment about

    nutrition or quality. Organic is how it is produced.Just because something is labeled organic does not

    mean it is superior, safer, or more healthy than

    conventional foods. All foods in this country must

    meet the same high standards of safety regardlessof their classification.

    nutritional value There is no evidence whatsoever that a diet

    high in or exclusively of organic foods is anyhealthier for you than a diet of conventional
