1. EXTREMADURA en un vistazo:
1.1. ¿Dónde está?!!? ¿Qué hay cerca? ¿Qué me espera?... ¡¡Lee, lee…!!
La región de Extremadura se sitúa en el suroeste de España en la frontera con Portugal. Se trata de ¡¡una de las regiones más grandes de Europa!! con una superficie aproximada de 41.600 km2, equivalente en extensión a Bélgica. La región extremeña se divide en dos provincias, Cáceres en el norte y Badajoz en el sur. La capital de la Región es Mérida.
Extremadura es un espacio de grandes contrastes y está considerado como uno de
los más importantes enclaves ecológicos de Europa.
El patrimonio histórico de la región es, igualmente, uno de los más sobresalientes de la Península Ibérica. No en vano, tanto Cáceres como Mérida –dos de las ciudades más importantes de la Región– han obtenido
el privilegio de ser reconocidas Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Extremadura, a pesar de ser la
gran “desconocida” esconde un sinfín de tesoros para visitar. La ciudad de BADAJOZ
La ciudad más grande de Extremadura basa en tres realidades geopolíticas su existencia, estructura, venturas y desventuras a lo largo de la Historia. Esas tres realidades son: el río Guadiana, el Cerro de La Muela o Cabezo del Monturio (colina sobre la que se asienta la Alcazaba árabe), y Portugal, referencia insoslayable para la existencia de Badajoz y la determinación de sus señas de identidad más genuinas. Un Portugal con el que la permeabilidad y los intercambios en todos los aspectos han sido muy activos a lo largo de los siglos. Badajoz fue también centro religioso de notable importancia y cuna de personajes tan universales…
Desde su fundación en el siglo IX por el muladín Ibn Marwan, Badajoz contó con sólidas fortificaciones reforzadas mediante obras sucesivas; soportó incesantes avatares bélicos desde la etapa medieval hasta este mismo siglo; y jugó un destacado papel como sede de múltiples acontecimientos diplomáticos.
La capital badajocense es el centro más destacado de todo el suroeste peninsular en el terreno económico, cultural y de servicios, y foco de articulación de todos los territorios
comprendidos en el amplio triángulo Madrid-Sevilla-Lisboa.
Badajoz es así: árabe y cristiano, militar y religioso.
fronterizo y guadianero. Bisagra entre España y Portugal. Histórico y moderno. Industrial y artesano. Castizo y cosmopolita. Hospitalario y acogedor. Amistoso y tolerante. Activo siempre y siempre abierto al visitante. Conocerlo merece bien la pena.

La ciudad de CÁCERES
El conjunto urbano de Cáceres constituye un privilegiado enclave monumental que ha sabido conservar testimonios significativos de los distintos pueblos y culturas que se han asentado en su territorio. La capital de la Alta Extremadura encierra orgullosa un rico patrimonio cultural, cuyo excelente estado de conservación propició su declaración como
Monumento Nacional en 1949, y su
proclamación por la UNESCO como
Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1986.
Cáceres es además el “Tercer Conjunto Monumental de Europa” otorgado por el Consejo de Europa, gracias a su magnífico estado de conservación. Ostenta, así mismo, el reconocimiento de la Federación Internacional de Periodistas y Escritores de Turismo, que le concedió el galardón Pomme D’Or al mérito turístico Y está integrada, a su vez, en redes turísticas como las de “Ciudades Patrimonio de la Humanidad de España”, “Juderías” y “Ruta de la Plata”.
Actualmente Cáceres es un núcleo universitario y de servicios, con una creciente actividad cultural entre la que merece destacarse la celebración de festivales medievales y certámenes literarios y artísticos, consolidados a partir de su declaración como Patrimonio Mundial. Nos encontramos, en definitiva, con una ciudad que está aprendiendo a conjugar modernidad con una extraordinaria herencia histórico-artística, a ofrecer simultáneamente en un sólo recinto servicios turísticos de primera calidad, y uno de los más sugerentes y auténticos viajes al pasado del circuito monumental español.

La ciudad de MÉRIDA
Capital de la Lusitania romana, fue, por su riqueza arqueológica, reconocida como
Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1993. La gran cantidad de piezas escultóricas, así
como la grandiosidad e importancia de sus monumentos, la convierten en el centro arqueológico de la época romana más importante de la Península.
En las afueras de la ciudad se encuentran restos de su pasado romano, como un circo, un anfiteatro y un teatro, el cual es el más suntuoso de los dieciocho teatros romanos de que se conservan restos importantes en España, y no ofrece en sus características ningún rasgo provincial: responde a las reglas fijadas por Vitrubio para este tipo de construcciones. Construido por el cónsul Marco Agripa, y
embellecido posteriormente por Trajano y Adriano. En la ciudad se han encontrado restos de templos y el famoso Arco de Trajano. En las últimas décadas, la ciudad se ha convertido en un núcleo industrial y de
servicio en alza, contribuyendo a este desarrollo, el interés por parte de arqueólogos e instituciones en sacar a la luz la inmensa riqueza arqueológica que afortunadamente cada año se recupera. Desde febrero de 1983 es la Capital de la Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura.

La ciudad de PLASENCIA La ciudad de Plasencia se encuentra situada al norte de la provincia de Cáceres,
dentro de la Ruta de Plata y a orillas del río Jerte. «Muy Noble, Leal y Benéfica ciudad de Plasencia fue fundada por el rey castellano Alfonso VIII en 1.186. «UT PLACEAT DEO ET HOMINIBUS», (Para que agrade a Dios y a los hombres) es la divisa que orla el escudo de la ciudad.
Concebida desde sus orígenes como fortaleza, denota en todo su casco antiguo un pronunciado carácter militar.
Desde finales del siglo XV, Plasencia acogería a lo más nombrado de la nobleza extremeña, lo que propició que duques, condes y marqueses residieran en la ciudad dejando, afortunadamente un gran legado histórico-artístico del que gran parte aún se conserva.
Larga y bella es la historia de Plasencia, Una ciudad sin parangón, acogedora y atrevida, dinámica y saludable y es sobre todo un enclave natural en todos sus aspectos. Sus alrededores también les cautivarán: Valle del Jerte, La Vera, Valle del Ambroz, Hurdes, Monfragüe, Valle del Alagón y Sierra de Gata.

1.2. ¿Y qué tiempo hace ahí??!!?? Aquí tienes un histórico del tiempo:
El clima de Extremadura se caracteriza por su irregularidad térmica y pluviométrica. Es de clima mediterráneo, aunque está influido por el Atlántico por su
cercanía y por las características de ser una región de interior. Las temperaturas aumentan de norte a sur. En las capitales de provincia nos
encontramos con temperaturas medias que oscilan entre los 5º del mes más frío a los 26-30º de los más cálidos. En general los veranos son calurosos y secos, y los inviernos suaves y húmedos.
Las precipitaciones se concentran en un 80% en los meses de octubre a abril. Las
precipitaciones suelen producirse en forma de lluvia, siendo los días de nieve muy escasos
en la región. Una característica fundamental es la irregularidad interanual, lo que puede provocar intensas y fuertes precipitaciones.
1.3. ¿Quieres disfrutar del sol? Las horas de sol en Madrid, por ejemplo, son:
Enero: 8.20am - 17.50pm Marzo: 7.06am - 19.24pm Julio: 6.41 - 21.50pm Noviembre: 8.00am - 18.10pm
¿La hora en España? Recuerda que estamos en la franja UTC+1. (Universal Co-ordinated). Es Central Europe Time, ¡tendremos una hora más que en Reino Unido (Londres-Greenwich) y Portugal!
Horarios comerciales: El horario de oficinas (administración pública) suele ser de 8.30am a 14.30pm El horario de bancos y oficinas: entre las 9am y las 14pm, y las 17pm a las 19pm, aprox.
(En verano se abre y se cierra más tarde). El horario de la oficina de Correos es todo el día, ininterrumpido. El horario de los bares y discotecas, ¡¡te sorprenderá!! Los cajeros automáticos estarán a tu disposición 24h/día, y algunas farmacias
también tienen abierto entre 12h y 24h por día.
Recomendamos: viajar mucho y dejarse sorprender por Extremadura, visitar los pueblos y sus fiestas, mezclarse con los extremeños, es ¡bueno, bonito y
barato! Hacer el Camino de Santiago siguiendo la Vía de la Plata, disfrutar del trekking, y de todos los kilómetros de playa interior que tiene la región (¡más kilómetros de costa que España!).
2. Información Práctica:
2. 1. Transportes. ¿Cómo llego a Extremadura?
El aeropuerto de Extremadura, situado en la localidad de Talavera la Real, es de vuelos nacionales, principalmente, así que, la mejor manera de llegar hasta Cáceres, Badajoz, Mérida o Plasencia es volar hasta los aeropuertos de Madrid o Sevilla (España) o Lisboa (Portugal), y después desplazarse en autobús, tren o vehículo particular o compartir coche con blablacar. Para encontrar información acerca de vuelos, horarios y tarifas, etc., se pueden consultar las siguientes páginas:

¿Cómo llego al campus? El campus de Cáceres y de Badajoz están muy cerca del centro de la ciudad (unos minutos); los campus de Mérida y Plasencia están en el propio centro de la cuidad.
Todas las ciudades extremeñas en las que se encuentra ubicada la Universidad de Extremadura cuentan con un servicio de transporte público efectivo y rápido. Existen líneas de autobús que, con una frecuencia de 15 minutos aprox, conectan directamente con cada una de las facultades.
Además, el transporte público ofrece la oportunidad de adquirir tarjetas especiales (“bonobús”) o tarjetas semanales/mensuales. Estas tarjetas son más económicas y pueden adquirirse en las oficinas de la compañía y recargarlas en internet.
Recuerda que tienes toda la información, más detallada, en www.unex.es/relint en “International Students”.
Cada facultad tiene un parking, por si vienes con tu coche.
Recomendamos: leer toda la información de la web, está detallada y constantemente actualizada.
2. 2. Visado o no Visado, ésa es la cuestión:
Los ciudadanos de la UE procedentes de países del espacio Schengen no necesitan visado para venir a la UEx, sólo lo necesitarán los estudiantes procedentes de Turquía y resto de países
del mundo, ya que permanecerás en el país más de 90 días. Tu visado será de estudiante y tendrá múltiples entradas. Debes preguntar en la embajada/consulado de España en tu país de origen, cada oficina consular tiene distintos requisitos, así como la apostilla de La Haya, etc... ¡¡Infórmate!!

Recomendamos: Inscríbete en la página web del ministerio de exteriores de tu país o en tu embajada, aunque no necesites Visado, (¡¡especialmente si no
necesitas visado!!). Dentro de tu primer mes en la UEx debes ir a la oficina de extranjería/comisaría de la Policía en tu ciudad extremeña, y hacerte el NIE (Número de Identidad Extranjero). Es altamente recomendable para Europeos y obligatorio para turcos y resto de países del mundo.
Te ayudará a la hora de abrir una cuenta bancaria, o hacer un contrato de arrendamiento o de móvil, a tramitar cualquier percance de documentos si los pierdes, para extender tu período de estancia en España (seas o no Europeo)…etc. Conclusión: ¡¡todos los estudiantes que vengan a la UEx se harán
su NIE en su primer mes de estancia!! Más información: http://www.policia.es/documentacion/documentacion.html
2. 3. Otras tarjetas útiles…¡¡¡para Ahorrar!!! ¿Quieres viajar barato porque…¡¡eres joven!!???
Hazte el ISIC (International Student Identity Card) en tu país de origen ¡¡antes de venir!! Consulta la web: http://www.isic.es/
La tarjeta de la UEx que te damos al llegar también tienes descuentos en la región, y la tarjeta de la ESN (Erasmus Student Association: www.esnuex.org) también tiene descuentos. Ambas tarjetas las obtienes cuando llegas a la UEx.
¿Quieres conducir en España? Si eres europeo, tu carné comunitario en regla será suficiente. Si eres de fuera de europa, te recomendamos que te hagas un carné de conducción internacional antes de venir a España.
Los límites de velocidad (donde los radares de velocidad son muy comunes): - en autovía son 120km/h, - en otras carreteras son 90km/h, - en ciudad son 50km/h. ¡¡¡Pero atento a las señales, eso puede variar!!! Y atención, que nosotros conducimos por la derecha, con el cinturón de seguridad siempre puesto, y sin usar el móvil, ni comer mientras conduces, ¡¡será mejor que no lo hagas nunca!!
2.4. ¡¡Salud!! Para recibir atención médica durante tu estancia en España,
deberás solicitar en tu país la Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea (TSE) o contratar un seguro de salud con cobertura internacional. Debes hacer esto antes de venir a España.
-Si eres Europeo, con tu TSE, podrás solicitud un médico en Extremadura. -Si eres de otro país, (incluyendo Turquía) debes preguntar a tu seguradora privada cuál es su proceso y acuerdos en España.
Además, recuerda que el servicio de urgencias de los centros de salud y hospitales en Extremadura te atenderán en cualquier caso.

Medicamentos: trae contigo tu medicación y prescripción. Anota el nombre de los genéricos y tráete un mini botiquín. ¡Por si acaso y para una emergencia! En España se compran los medicamentos en Farmacia, sólo, no en supermercados.
Y ya sabes, No necesitarás ninguna vacuna para venir a España ni comprarte botellas de agua para consumir. Toda el agua en Extremadura (y resto de España) es potable, no hay problema.
Salud en la UEx: Será a tu médico del SES (ver apartado anterior) al que debas ir cuando estés enfermo, la UEx tiene sólo servicio de psicología para sus estudiantes, es la Unidad de Atención al Estudiante ([email protected]) y podéis escribirles cuando necesitéis hablar con alguien o si necesitáis pedir orientación curricular según vuestras necesidades especiales.
Recuerda ir a hablar con ellos si necesitas hablar, apoyo psicológico, si necesitas adaptación curricular (ayuda para seguir tus clases), etc.
2.5. Alojamiento:
Las ciudades donde está ubicada la UEx permiten, por su tamaño y comodidad, encontrar un alojamiento de forma relativamente fácil.
Además, no es caro vivir en Extremadura. Tienes todas las comodidades de una ciudad grande, pero en un entorno pequeño.
Un piso completo puede costar 400E más facturas de agua, luz, gas e Internet (unos 100E más por todo por persona al mes, probablemente). Los pisos se alquilan completamente amueblados, incluso con lavadora, por lo que te ahorras
comprar más, tan sólo necesitarás sábanas y toallas, si tú no traes, y eso puedes comprarlo en las tiendas del centro de la ciudad o en cadenas de supermercados como Carrefour, etc.
Compartir habitación en un piso puede ser entre unos 120-150E, aproximadamente, más facturas. En todos los pisos hay que pagar una fianza, y su devolución será pactada entre el estudiante y el dueño del piso. Se te pedirá firmar un contrato al llegar y entregarás la primera mensualidad y la fianza al firmar dicho contrato.
Ten en cuenta que los dos primeros meses supondrán más gastos que el resto. La UEx no cuenta con residencias para estudiantes internacionales, pues las
plazas en éstas suelen acabarse rápido y sus condiciones no son mejores que vivir en un piso de alquiler privado (que es más económico, más céntrico, más cómodo para comidas, etc).
Tendrás la ayuda de tu tutor/buddy para buscar un piso en Extremadura, así como con la ayuda de la ESN (Asociación de Estudiantes Internacionales: www.esnuex.org) y además, te daremos algunos consejos para buscarlos, y puedes mirar páginas como:

Puedes buscar alojamiento antes de venir, pero te recomendamos que para los primeros días busques un albergue/hostal/hotel y busques cuando llegues, es más fácil si los ves, si hablas con los dueños, etc.
O bien, puedes buscarlo antes de venir, a través de esas páginas de arriba, o a través de agencias inmobiliarias de las distintas ciudades de la UEx. Recuerda que tendrás que pagar una comisión si lo haces a través de una agencia. Si lo haces de modo particular, entre tú y el dueño del piso, no.
En el campus de Cáceres os daremos una lista de contactos de pisos compartidos con otros
estudiantes, para que vosotros mismos llaméis y vayáis a verlos y decidáis dónde queréis
vivir. Normalmente, los estudiantes suelen encontrar alojamiento en un par de días, y desde
el momento en que decidís en cuál queréis vivir, podréis mudaros a él, directamente.
Mientras buscáis, podréis quedaros en un hostal o albergue.
Este Secretariado, en su condición de intermediario, está exento de cualquier
responsabilidad.
En el campus de Badajoz No hay listado de pisos compartidos, pero con la ayuda de la Erasmus Student Network, los tutores/buddies y las muchas opciones que ofrece la ciudad, no tendréis problema. Todos los pisos de las listas están localizados en el centro de la ciudad, y tendréis que tomar un autobús urbano para ir al campus. Para los primeros días en Cáceres: http://caceresjoven.com/paginas/visita/alojamientos_extremadura/alojamientos.asp y páginas de búsqueda como booking.com, etc Para los primeros días en Badajoz: http://www.badajozjoven.com/paginas/visita/alojamientos_extremadura/alojamientos.asp y en páginas como booking.com, etc. Todos los estudiantes en Badajoz se alojan en pisos en el centro de la ciudad. Los estudiantes de Mérida y Plasencia tendrán la ayuda de su tutor y coordinador académico y el hecho de estar en un sitio más pequeño les dará más opciones y más económicas, además, ¡¡no necesitan transporte urbano para ir al campus!!
Todos los estudiantes deberán comunicar al Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales –Badajoz o Cáceres- dependiendo del campus en que realicen sus estudios– la dirección de su domicilio en Extremadura, así como los cambios de
residencia que pudieran producirse, y también su teléfono español, si lo tuvieran. La actualización de estos datos es de gran importancia ya que nos permitirá remitir documentación de interés y establecer los contactos que sean necesarios. Necesitaremos tu teléfono y dirección postal españoles. Nosotros os la pediremos por email.
Detalles importantes:
1. En España: 220v.
2. Es seguro llamar y tomar cualquier taxi que veas por la calle.
3. ¡¡Y Recuerda!!:
1. Cambia dinero en el aeropuerto al llegar a España, es más barato que hacerlo en tu país, si tienes moneda distinta. 2. Si tu moneda no cotiza (por ejemplo, el peso colombiano), deberás venir con dinero cambiado desde tu país, o bien con dólares americanos, para cambiarlos aquí al llegar. Pregunta en tu banco. 3. Habla con tu banco en tu país de origen, antes de venir, y comprueba si tu tarjeta de débito/crédito te vale para el extranjero, si te cobran comisión y cuánta, al sacar dinero de un cajero o al pagar con ella tus compras, por el cambio posible de divisa, etc… 4. Si te abres una cuenta en un banco español (no obligatorio para todos los programas de movilidad), debes preguntar si te cobran comisión de apertura, cierre, por movimientos bancarios, por tarjetas…y qué documentación necesitan para que puedas abrirla (normalmente el pasaporte y un contrato de piso para probar que vives en Extremadura). El Banco Santander tiene sede en el campus de la UEx y suelen poner menos inconvenientes, pero cualquier banco es válido, aunque en otros te pedirán, por ejemplo, el NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjeros), así que, ¡infórmate primero! 5.Si quieres hacer un contrato de teléfono móvil, necesitarás acreditar que tienes una dirección en Extremadura. O bien puedes comprar sólo la tarjeta SIM, para lo cual, ¡¡recuerda preparar tu teléfono en tu país para ello!!
Para internet y teléfono en el piso, podéis hablar con el dueño, que lo contrate él y se lo pagáis como el resto de las facturas, por ejemplo, o lo contratáis vosotros con cualquier compañía teléfonica: podeis comparar precios en thephonehouse y en movistar (por ejemplo), donde están las más importantes. Vuestro Tutor/Buddy o
la ESN os ayudarán a hacerlo.
3. ESTUDIAR EN LA UEX
3.1 La Universidad de Extremadura (UEX) nace en el año 1973. A pesar de la relativa juventud de la Universidad de Extremadura y de
estar vertebrada en una estructura de campus universitarios multidisciplinares, la UEx desarrolla una enseñanza universitaria superior y de investigación y numerosas actividades de extensión universitaria en consorcio con la comunidad extremeña.
La Universidad de Extremadura tiene más de 20000 estudiantes repartidos en los cuatro campus, y cuenta con más de 2.000 profesores y 17 centros universitarios (11 facultades, 6 escuelas universitarias y de ingenierías) y 1 centro adscrito. La oferta académica de la UEx se extiende a unos 60 grados EEES, estudios de doctorado, cursos de especialización, programas de investigación en la Escuela Internacional de Posgrado, Cursos Internacionales de Verano, Másteres y Cursos de Lengua y Cultura Española para Extranjeros. Además, también cuenta con el Instituto de Lenguas Modernas (ILM) y el recién creado Insituto de Español como Lengua Extranjera (IELE):

EXPEDICIÓN DEL CERTIFICADO DE NOTAS/
Transcript of Records En el Certificado Académico se recogerá la relación de asignaturas
cursadas así como la calificación y créditos obtenidos. Las notas y créditos serán indicados tanto según el sistema local como ECTS,
cuando se trate de estudiantes participantes en el programa ERASMUS +. Con el fin de remitir a la Institución de Origen dicho Certificado, el estudiante
internacional rellenará el Anexo 4 que será entregado en el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales de la UEx –Cáceres o Badajoz–, según la provincia en que se hayan realizado los estudios. O al coordinador académico en Mérida y Plasencia.
El Certificado Académico/Transcript of Records del estudiante internacional será enviado por esta Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales UEx a la universidad de origen (exclusivamente a la oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de origen y No al estudiante). Será notificado a los estudiantes la fecha en que dicho envío será hecho. Se mandarán dos copias, una para la universidad, que lo recibe, y otra para el estudiante, que debe ir a buscarla a su oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de origen. Es necesario entregar el anexo 4 antes de irse para que sean mandadas.
El Certificado de Notas de los estudiantes participantes en el programa de movilidad nacional SICUE será remitido por el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales a la universidad de origen sin que sea necesario entregar el Anexo 4 exigido a los estudiantes internacionales.
4. SERVICIOS DE LA UEX
Como estudiante internacional en la UEx tendrás completo derecho a usar todos los servicios de la universidad, algunos de ellos te los presentamos aquí.

4.1. SERVICIO DE BIBLIOTECAS
Casí todos los centros en la UEx tienen una biblioteca propia, y además, hay dos
bibliotecas centrales (en Cáceres y Badajoz):

Horario: Lunes a viernes de 8:30 a 23:00 horas. Durante los períodos de exámenes las Bibliotecas Centrales abrirán también en durante el fin de semana.

tranquilamente y ¡¡conocer a gente!!
4.2. SECRETARIADO DE ACTIVIDADES CULTURALES
Esta oficina organiza actividades y cursos en los que podéis participar. Normalmente hay que pagar una inscripción que es reducida para vosotros. - Estos cursos son siempre optativos, no son asignaturas oficiales, no tienen código y no se escriben en vuestro learning agreement/acuerdos de estudio. Son cursos extra en los que quizá queráis participar, ya que son, por ejemplo: Danza, Teatro, Coreografía, Debate, Fotografía, etc. - Al final de la realización, posiblemente podáis tener un certificado de participación/realización del curso, pero éste no aparecerá en vuestro learning agreement/acuerdo de estudios.

4.3. SERVICIO DE ACTIVIDAD FÍSICA Y DEPORTE
Desde el Servicio de Actividad Física y Deporte (SAFYDE) se coordinan el uso de
instalaciones y la participación en las competiciones universitarias y demás actividades y eventos deportivos que se organizan. Infórmate de la convocatoria de ayudas para deportistas universitarios y de alto nivel, que proporcionan apoyo económico y facilidades académicas que harán más fácil compaginar la práctica deportiva y tus estudios.

4.5. INSITUTO ESPAÑOL COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA:
La UEx ha creado el IELE, cuya finalidad es la de “coordinar la puesta en marcha de una programación completa para que los extranjeros puedan aprender español”.

La UEx ofrece un Curso de Español para estudiantes internacionales INcoming de
intercambio. Se denomina: “Curso de Español para Estudiantes Internacionales.
Este curso, aunque No es una asignatura de ninguna de las facultades de la universidad, sí que tiene créditos ECTS y sí pueden ser convalidados en las instituciones de origen. Será la institución de origen la que decida si se convalidan o no, y para ello debe escribirse el nombre de este curso en el learning agreement/acuerdo de estudio.
El Curso de Español para extranjeros No es obligatorio.
El Curso de Español para estudiantes internacionales INcoming dura todo el curso académico, pero está dividido en dos semestres (desde septiembre hasta enero y desde enero hasta junio, aprox). En cada semestre pueden conseguirse 3 créditos, y con ello, se otorga a los estudiantes que aprueben un certificado de haberlo realizado, pero dicho resultado No aparece en el Transcript of Records que se remite al final de la estancia.
Sólo el certificado/diploma de su realización será lo que acredite que se ha realizado satisfactoriamente. Este certificado se lo llevan los estudiantes en mano antes de irse. El Transcript of Records, sin embargo, se envía a las universidades de origen.
El curso se solicita una vez estén los estudiantes aquí, incorporados en la UEx, quienes deben hacer una prueba de nivel y consultar todas sus dudas con la profesora, tanto académicas del propio curso, como administrativas. Los niveles disponibles dependerán de los resultados de la prueba de nivel.
El curso es gratis, sólo hay que pagar unas tasas administrativas.
Recuerda que obtener un certificado de lengua en el país de origen de esa lengua no es igual que obtenerlo en tu país de origen, ¡cualquiera atribuye más valor a realizarlo en destino, en vez de en origen!
Curso de Español para estudiantes de intercambio
¿Denominación? Curso de Español para estudiantes de Intercambio
¿Duración? 2 semestres (independientes y coincidentes con el semestre académico)
¿Créditos? 3 ECTS/semestre
¿Convalidable? Sí, siempre que tu universidad así lo decida, en cuyo caso debes incluirlo en tu learning agreement/plan de estudios (aunque no tenga código por no ser una asignatura de ningún centro, sino un curso independiente).
¿Certificado? Si apruebas, sí obtendrás un certificado que te llevarás tú personalmente (independiente del Transcript of Records que mandamos a tu universidad).
¿Matricularse?
Es gratis, sólo hay que pagar unas tasas administrativas de aprox 40E/semestre.
Pagar 40E aprox en Banco Santander, entregar solicitud y documento del pago en el banco y acreditación de estudiante internacional (que te da esta oficina de Relaciones Internacionales).
Hay que realizar una prueba de nivel.
El formulario de inscripción se te dará cuando llegues o por email.

5. TAMBIÉN DEBES CONOCER…
Los estudiantes internacionales de la UEx obtienen un Pinweb y un Iduex, dos códigos de identificación para poder acceder a internet en la UEx: www.unex.es/estudiantes
5.1. El Pinweb y el Iduex que se os dan cuando llegáis:
-os dan acceso a la Wifi de la UEx (RinUex: www.unex.es/eweb/rinuex)
-os dan acceso al Portal Servicios de la UEx, donde están todos vuestros datos
personales y académicos (grupos de clase, info de asignaturas elegidas, resultados de exámenes, etc). En www.unex.es, debes entrar en “portal servicios” y hacer el log-in. En el menú de la izquierda tendrás acceso a los datos como estudiante matriculado.
-os dan acceso al Campus Virtual, desde el que gestionas la información de las
asignaturas. Es tu contacto con el profesor y con el material de estudio. 5.2. EDUROAM Antes de venir a la UEx, es recomendable que en vuestro país de
origen configuréis vuestros ordenadores, tablets,…(pueden ayudaros en el servicio de informática de vuestros centros de origen), y así podréis conectaros aquí con la red (RinUEx), pero con los datos de vuestra institución de origen.

5.3. SI QUIERES TRABAJAR: Plataforma de Empleo Pathfinder.
La UEx dispone de la plataforma de empleo Pathfinder (www.unex.es/empleo) con
más de 1.300 empresas que demandan profesionales o estudiantes en prácticas. Date de alta gratuitamente y cumplimenta tu CV en la plataforma para acceder a las ofertas que desees.
¡¡Pero!! Si quieres conseguir trabajo, dependerá de tu visado y de tu país de procedencia. Aun así, si a Relaciones Internacionales nos llega alguna oferta, os las
facilitaremos por email, pero no suele ser normal. Pon carteles por la ciudad o anúnciate en algún muro de Facebook. (También podrás encontrar información interesante en el muro del Facebook y Twitter de Relaciones.International.UEx).

El Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Extremadura es el órgano central de gestión de los programas de movilidad tanto de carácter nacional (SICUE) como de ámbito internacional (ERASMUS+, TEMPUS, etc.)
Asume las funciones de coordinación entre los centros de la UEx, las instituciones universitarias socias y los organismos nacionales e internacionales encargados de la ejecución y desarrollo de los programas.

It is one of the largest regions in Europe with a surface area of approximately 41,600 km2, the size of Belgium. This region is divided into two provinces, Cáceres in the North and Badajoz in the South. Mérida is the regional capital.
Extremadura is an area of great contrasts and is considered to be one of
the most important ecological enclaves in Europe.
The historical heritage of the region is likewise one of the most outstanding of the Iberian Peninsula. Actually, both Cáceres and Mérida (two of the most important towns in the Region) hold the privilege of being recognised as
World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

The largest town in Extremadura owes its existence, its structure, and its fortunes and misfortunes throughout history to three circumstances. These are: the Guadiana river, the Cerro de La Muela or Cabezo del Monturio -a hill on which the Arab citadel was built-, and Portugal, an unavoidable reference point for the existence of Badajoz and the determination of its most genuine distinguishing marks for all the kind of exchanges that have been a constant through the ages.
Since its foundation in the 9th century by the convert Ibn Marwan, Badajoz has had its solid fortifications strengthened by successive building, and has withstood incessant military action from the medieval period right up to the 20th century. It played an important part as the headquarters for multiple diplomatic events.
Badajoz has cemented its extraordinary vigour and expansion of recent years on this rich past. It has been propelled by its own vitality that at
present makes it the most important centre in the south-west of the country in the economic,
cultural, and service fields. It is the focal point of the Madrid-Seville-Lisbon triangle.
Badajoz is thus Arab and Christian, military and religious, a frontier and river town, a hinge between Spain and Portugal. It is also historical and modern, industrial and home-producing, traditional and cosmopolitan. It is hospitable and welcoming, friendly and tolerant, always on the go and always opened to the visitor. It is worth getting to know it.

CÁCERES
The town of Cáceres is a privileged monumental enclave that has preserved
significant evidence of the varied peoples and cultures that have settled there. The capital of Upper Extremadura proudly holds a rich cultural heritage, the excellent condition of which gave rise to its declaration as a National Monument in 1949, and its being proclaimed a
World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1986.
Cáceres is, moreover, the “Third Monumental Ensemble in Europe”, a
distinction granted by the European Council, thanks to its magnificent state of preservation. It also has the recognition of the International Federation of Tourist Journalists
and Writers, who awarded it the Pomme D’Or prize for tourist merit. It forms part of tourist routes such as those of “Spanish World Heritage Sites”, “Jewish quarters”, and the “Ruta de la Plata”. Cáceres is a service and university town nowadays, with a growing cultural activity; it is noted for the holding of medieval festivals and literary and artistic competitions, consolidated as from its declaration as a World Heritage Site. We
encounter, in short, a town that is learning to combine modernity with an extraordinary historical and artistic heritage and to provide first-class tourist services, and that offers one of the most suggestive and genuine journeys into the past on the Spanish monumental

MÉRIDA
The capital of Roman Lusitania was recognized as a World Heritage Site in
1993, due to its archaeological richness. The great number of sculptural pieces, together with the grandiosity and importance of its monuments, make it the most relevant archaeological centre of the Roman era in the Peninsula. The Roman Bridge, over the river Guadiana, 792 metres long with 60 arches, is especially noteworthy as being one of the longest ever built in the Roman style.
On the outskirts of the town remains of its Roman past can be found, such as an amphitheatre and a theatre, the most magnificent of the eighteen Roman theatres of which significant remains are preserved in Spain. It shows no provincial characteristic from the rules set down by Vitruvius for this type of construction. The theatre was built by the consul Marcus Agrippa, and embellished subsequently by Trajan and Hadrian.
The remains of temples and the famous Trajan’s Arch have been found in the town. In recent decades Mérida has become a rising industrial and service centre. This development has been encouraged by the interest of archaeologists and institutions in bringing to light the immense archaeological wealth that is being recovered each year. It has been the Capital of the Autonomous Region of Extremadura since February 1983.

PLASENCIA
The town of Plasencia is situated in the north of the province of Cáceres, alongside the Ruta de la Plata and on the banks of the Jerte river. «The very Noble, Loyal and Beneficient town of Plasencia» was founded by the Castilian king Alfonso VIII in 1186. «UT PLACEAT DEO ET HOMINIBUS» (to give pleasure to God and men) is the motto that
adorns its coat of arms. It was conceived from its origins as a fortress and the whole of the old town has a strong military character.
As from the late 15th century, Plasencia received the cream of the Extremadura nobility, which meant that dukes, counts, and marquises were resident in the town. They left a rich historical and artistic legacy of which a large part is still preserved. Plasencia has had a long and splendid history
that can be appreciated from its web page. It is an incomparable town, welcoming and daring, dynamic and healthy, and is above all a natural centre in the full sense of the term.

The climate of Extremadura is characterized by a variation in both temperature and
rainfall typical of a Mediterranean climate. This feature is however substantially modified by the region’s interior location and by Atlantic influences that penetrate the peninsula due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
Temperatures increase from north to south. In the provincial capitals, average temperatures vary between 5º in the coldest month and 26-30º in the warmest ones. In general, summers are hot and dry, and winters are mild and wet.
80% of the precipitation falls between October and April, with an average of 500 mm per year; in mountainous areas the figure is higher. Precipitation normally comes as rain; snow falls on very few days in the region. An essential characteristic of the rainfall is its variation from year to year; intense strong rain may occur.

Opening Hours: General Office hours (public administration) is usually from 8.30am to 14.30pm Banks and offices: from 9am to 14pm, and from 17pm to 19pm, aprox. (This varies during the summer time). Post-office: open all day long, from the morning till 8pm aprox. Bars; pubs, discos…will surprise you!! ATMs/cash points will be 24h available, and some Pharmacies will also be open 12h/day or even 24h/day.
We recommend: travel a lot and let yourself being surprised by Extremadura. Visit its “pueblos”/villages, its festivities, mix up with its people. It is all good,
beautiful and cheap (as we say: “Bueno, bonito y barato”!! Do the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostela following the Silver Route and enjoy the trekking, and all its interior beaches in the región (even more kilometers than the very Spain!).

2.1. Transports. How do I get to Extremadura?
Extremadura Airport, located in Talavera la Real, is a national flights airport, so, the
best way to come to Cáceres, Badajoz, Mérida or Plasencia is to flight to the closest main international airports (Madrid´s or Lisbon –Portugal-), and from there, travel to Extremadura by coach, train or hired car, or sharing a car with carpooling `blablacar´. Now, how do I get to the campus? Cáceres campus and Badajoz campus are very close to the city centre (a few minutes away by car); Mérida campus and Plasencia campus are in the very centre of the city.
All towns where University of Extremadura faculties are located have a rapid and efficient public transport system. There are bus lines running every 15 minutes max. that
provide a direct link to each of the faculties. Moreover, public transport cards (“bonobús”) are available. There are
two possibilities: rechargeable card (ten trips) and monthly card (unlimited trips). Both cards have to be got in the office of the buses company. Remember
you have all the details in www.unex.es/relint in International Students. If the student has a car, each faculty has its own large car park.

2. 2. Visa or not Visa, that is the question: UE citizens coming from Schengen group do Not need any Visa to enter Spain, only students coming from Turkey will need it. As for the rest of the countries of the world, you might need it, for you might be within
Spain for more than 90 days, plus you are a student. You will have, then, a Visa for students and should ask for one with multiple entrances. You have to ask in the Spanish Embassy or consulate in your home country and take into account that each of them will have different requisites, or the The Hague Apostille, etc. Get yourself informed!!

Register on the web of your ministry of external relations in your country and/or in your embassy –even if you don´t need a Visa. Especially if you
don´t need a Visa!! Once in Extremadura, and within the first month of stay, you have to go to the foreigners´ office at the Police Station in your Extremenian city and you have to get yourself the NIE (Número de Identidad Extranjero/Foreigner ID). It is strongly advisable for Europeans and obligatory for Turkish students and rest of the world students.
This will help you whenever you need to open a bank account or sign a contract for a flat, for a mobile, for WIFI at home or when you need to manage any other document of yours (if you lose your ID or Passport, etc. Conclusion: ALL students coming to the UEx must get the NIE

2. 3. Other useful cards…to Save money!!! Do you want to travel always low-cost cuz…you are young!!!??? Get yourself the ISIC card (International Student Identity Card) in your home country before coming to the UEx!! Check this web:
http://www.isic.es/ Also, with the UEx student card (which you will do when you arrive in here) you can get discounts, and the same with the ESN card (Erasmus Student Association: www.esnuex.org), which you get once in here, too.
So, do you want to drive in Spain? If you are a European citizen with a valid home country drive license you can drive in Spain with it. If you are from outside Europe, we recommend you to get an International
Driving License in your home country. Speed limits in Spain (where speed radars are very common): - highway: 120km/h, - other national roads: 90km/h, - within the city: 50km/h or even 20 or 30!!, this varies according to the zone. Attention to the traffic signs!! And, be careful, we do drive on the right side of the road, with the obligatory safety belf and without using the mobile or eating meanwhile, better don´t do so!!
2.4. ¡¡Salud!! In order to receive medical attention while in Spain, you should ask
for your European Health Insurance card (EHIC card) in your own country, or hire a health insurance to cover your stay abroad. You have to do so before coming to Spain.
-If you are European, with your EHIC card you can ask to get an assigned doctor in Spain by going to your closest medical centre. -If you are from another country (includying Turkey) you have to ask to your private insurance for the centres that have agreement with them in Spain.
Also, do remember that the ER in the hospitals in Spain will help you out anyway if you have an emergency. Bureaucracy will come afterwards.
EMERGENCIES 112
Medicines: bring with you your medicines and its prescriptions. Note down the generics and bring a fist aid with you, just in case. In Spain, all the medicines must be got in a Pharmacy, not drugstores.
And, as you know, you don´t need any vaccines to come to Spain, nor buy any bottled water, you can drink the tap one all over the place.
Health in the UEx: It will be your assigned doctor from the Social Security (SES. See previous info) where you will go if you are ill, since the UEx only has psychology service for the students. It is the UAE ([email protected]) and you can visit them whenever you need it (by appointment) for if you need to talk to someone, or need some curricular help for special needs.
Remember you can go to talk to them if you need a chat or help on whatever because of special needs.
2.5. Accommodation: Because of the size and location and characteristics of the cities of the UEx
different campus, you will be able to find accommodation quite easity. Also, it is not expensive to live in Extremadura. You will have all the facilities
of a big city, but in a smaller place. A whole flat in here would be around 400E plus expenses (bills that might be up to 100E/month per person max, probably). Flats are hired completely furnished, even with the washing machine, so that only thing you will have to buy is bed linen and
towels if you are not bringing anything of that. Anyhow, you can buy it in here in supermarkets, etc. Sharing a flat might be about 120E150E, aprox, plus bills too. In any case, you will have to pay a deposit (usually a month of rent) that you can get back a the end of your stay if you took care of the flat properly, or exchange it for your last payment or bills…it will depend on what your contract says.
Just take into account that you will have a lot of expenses in the fist two months of your stay here.
The UEx does not offer halls of residences for international students for the vacancies run out very quickly and the expenses and conditions are not better than living in shared flat (cheaper, in the city centre, comfortable cooking your own food, etc).

You can look for accommodation before arriving here, but we do advice you to do it once you arrive, during the first days we tell you to be here prior the lessons begin, as to check them out by yourself, for it is easier to talk to the
landlords, roommates, etc. Or you can always look for it before coming here by means of the webs above or by real state agents webs, just take into account that the latest will charge you a fee that you don´t pay if it´s private search.
In Cáceres campus you will be given a list of flats, so that you can visit them and check
them out and make up your mind. Normally, students take a couple of days to get settled
in one of those flats. You visit as many as you want, decide and go and move in
straightaway. This list of flats is normally sent to you before coming here.
This International Relations Office is as mere intermediary and will be exempted for any responsibility.
Although there is not such list for Badajoz campus, students going there will have the help of the ESN, their buddies and the many options Badajoz itself offers. And the fact of being smaller cities and being the building of the UEx in the city centre will be easier for they will not need any public transport.
All students will have to tell to this office their Spanish address and phone number whenever they are asked by email. It is of great importance to us.

2. It is safe to get a taxi in the street.
3. ¡¡Y Recuerda!!:
1. Currency change: at the Spanish airport when you arrive, for it is cheaper than in your country –if you have a different currency. 2. If your foreign currency currency is not listed (internationally ´recognized´ in the stock), for instance, Colombian peso, you will have to get Euros or getting American dollars, to change them wherever here. Get yourself informed in your bank!!! 3. Do make sure with your bank that your debit/credit card works abroad, if they will charge you when using an ATM/cash point here, the commisions, etc. 4. If you open a bank account in a Spanish bank (not obligatory for all exchange study programs), remember to ask for their commissions and documents required (normally a passport is needed and a contract or prove of being living in Spain). In Banco Santander in the campus, you will not need so many documents and being a student of the UEx will help. 5. If you want to get a contract for a mobile phone, you will have to provide a Spanish address and sometimes, a bank account in Spain as well. Though you can always buy a SIM card/pay as you go one, but remember to prepare your phone for that if needed!
To hire Internet and landline at home, you can talk to the landlord and propose to pay that as the rest of the bills, being hired by him; or you can hire yourself checking the prizes in shops like thephonehouse and movistar, where you will have all the companies to check them out. Your buddy and the ESN will help you out.
3. Study at the UEX
3.1. The University of Extremadura was born in 1973. Despite the relative youth of the University of Extremadura and its
structure of multi-disciplinary campuses, the UEX centres are the axes around which higher university teaching, research, and a large part of the university’s extended activities in the widest sense of the term are developed.
The University of Extremadura is a modern institution with more than 20.000 students, more than 2.000 professors and 17 centres (11 faculties, 6 university and engineering schools), also one joined centre- distributed among its four campuses (Badajoz, Cáceres, Mérida and Plasencia). The academic offer of the UEx is extended to more than 60 grades (EHEA), doctorate studies in the International Postgraduate School, research programs, International summer courses, masters and Spanish Language and Culture Courses and it counts with the recently opened Instituto de Lenguas Modernas (ILM) and the Instituto de Español como Lengua Extranjera (IELE).

the marks and credits obtained. In the case of students participating in the ERASMUS+ programme, the marks and credits will be indicated according to both the local system and to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
Only students who hand-in the Annex 4 in this International Office will receive their marks at the end of their stay or posted to their home university if not ready yet by the time of leaving. If it is posted, it will be sent to the International office of the student´s home university.
4. Services of the UEx
Being a student at the UEx will allow you to have all the rights of a national student, so you can have access to all the Services and Facilities the UEx offers. You have some examples here:

Nearly every centre in the UEx has its own library, and also, you will find a Central Library in each campus:

4.2. Cultural Activities
This office organices activities and courses (extra curricular) and you can participarte in them. Normally, you have to pay a fee for inscription, but it is reduced for you, as a student. - These courses/activities are always optional, they are not oficial courses of the UEx to be written in your learning agreement/study proposal. They have no code. Even though, you might want to participate, since they are courses such us: dance, theatre, choreography, debate, photography, etc. - When you have done any of these activities/courses you might get a certificate, but nothing to do with what you put in your study proposal and with your transcript of records.

Remember that these activities will help you out to meet up new friends, out of your studies atmosphere, so that you will get away from the daily routine, try them out!!

The UEx offers the possibility of taking a Spanish Language Course, only designed for
International INcoming students. The course is called Curso de Español para Estudiantes
Internacionales.
This course, although it does Not belong to any faculty of the UEx, but it does have ECTS
credits and they can be validated when back in your home institution. It is such home
institution the one deciding if they validate it or not, but in any case, the student must
write it on the learning agreement /study programme.
The Spanish Language Course for International Students is Not obligatory.
This course lasts for the whole academic year, but it is divided into the two semesters of the
year (from September to February and from February to May). In each semester 3
ECTS credits can be got if the result is successful. A diploma will be given to the student
who passes it, but this result will Not appear as a formal course in the Transcritp of
Records sent to the home university at the end of the stay.
Only the diploma of taking the course successfully will certificate that is has been
done. This diploma must be taking by the student himself before leaving, it is not sent to
their home universities, as the Transcript is.
The application for the Spanish Language Course for International Students is done once
the student has arrived in the UEx. A level test has to be taken here as well, and all the
doubts must be discussed with the professor herself (even administrative matters…).The
different levels will be depending on the results and number of students.
The course is free, only one administrative fee has to be paid. Such fee is 40E per semester.

Remember that getting a certificate of Spanish IN Spain might be better regarded than if you get it in your home country.
Curso de Español para estudiantes de intercambio
Name Spanish Language Course for Exchange/Erasmus Students
Length 1st semester and 2nd semester (independently). It is along the academic course.
Credits 3 ECTS/semester
Validation Yes, as long as your home university allows so and you put it in your learning agreement/study proposal (although it has No code, for it is not a course from any of the faculties of the UEx)
Certification If you pass it, you will get a certificate that you will have to personally pick up (this is different and apart from the Transcript of Records that we will send to your home institution).
Registration
It is free, you will only have to pay an administrative fee of 40E/semester. Pay 40E in Banco Santander, hand in the application and payment receipt and International student certification (that this international office gives you). Nevertheless, you will receive more information from the Spanish Language as a foreign language Institute too. You have to take a test once in Spain.

5.1. International students at the UEx are given a Pinweb and Iduex, two
codes to get accesss to the web of the UEx: www.unex.es/estudiantes
The Pinweb and Iduex given when you arrive:
-allow you to access the Wifi de la UEx (RinUex: www.unex.es/eweb/rinuex)
-allow you to log-in the Portal Servicios of the UEx where your personal and
academic data is kept (groups of your chosen courses, info on courses and lessons, academic results, exams info, etc). When you go to www.unex.es, you have to click on “portal servicios” and log-in. In the left-handside menu you have your data, once you are an already-registered student.
-allow you to access to the Campus Virtual, and in there (you have to follow its
instructions) you can follow the academic stuff your proffessors will tell you. This is your contact with the professor of the course (once registered). 5.2. EDUROAM Before coming to the UEX, it is strongly advisable that you set
your electronic devices (they can help you in the IT office of your home uni) and so, you will be able to have internet access through the UEx wifi (RinUex), by using the codes/password, etc of your home university.
You can access the internet with our wifi, but with your home uni username and password if you have this Eduroam set. It is a safe connection.

5.3. If you want to WORK: Empleo Pathfinder.
The UEx has this web www.unex.es/empleo where you can find more than 1300 enterprises offering their vacancies. You can register for free and upload your CV.
But!! If you want to find a job, it will depend on your Visa (when needed) and home country. Nevertheless, if we get in this office an offer, we will send it to you by email, but it is not very common that this happen. Put some posters over there with
language lessons, write on our wall on Facebook, check our office´s Twitter, etc.
5.4. Special Needs and student´s support
If you need to have a chat, some help with your curricula (any special need or assistance to follow your lessons –hearing impairment, etc- you can visit the Special Needs and Student support´s unit, where psychologists and social workers are there to help you out. The International Relations Office of the University of Extremadura is the central administrative body for inter-university co-operation and mobility programmes, both national SICUE- and international – ERASMUS+, TEMPUS,…

REMEMBER!!! Annual students/First semester students: Till 2nd October: learning agreement/study proposal AND changes on it with annex 2b/nonE AND annex 3B. Second Semester Students February: Learning Agreement/Non-E AND Annex 3) and Changes (Annex 2.b/Non-E and Annex 3.b). **Erasmus+ sample will be used, although the names 2.a and 2.b are being used here.
Attention: *****All these documents will have a date as to be fully done and such dates will
be notified by email to the students. There will be a calendar of documents and procedures,
according to your home institution. In the same way, you have to be in touch with your UEx
academic coordinator, for if these dates were modified at some point.

REGISTRO Y MATRÍCULA EN LA UNIVERSIDAD DE EXTREMADURA PARA ESTUDIANTES SICUE.
Registro en la UEx:
Los alumnos que hayan sido seleccionados por sus Universidades de origen con una plaza del Programa SICUE 2015/2016 en la Universidad de Extremadura, deberán registrarse rellenando y entregando en el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales (Badajoz o Cáceres) el Anexo 1 – Certificado de Participación en los Programas de Movilidad-.
Será necesario que, antes de tu llegada, prepares el Acuerdo Académico- Impreso C-. Dicho documento deberá ir firmado por el Coordinador y el Decano de tu centro de origen y por el Coordinador y el Decano del Centro de destino. Dos ejemplares originales debidamente firmados por todas las partes debes entregarlos en el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales de la UEx a tu llegada.
Recuerda que el Acuerdo Académico sólo podrá ser modificado en el plazo de un mes a partir de tu llegada a la Universidad de Extremadura.
Si tu Universidad de origen exige Certificado de llegada o incorporación, deberás presentar el modelo debidamente cumplimentado para su firma en el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales.
Al finalizar tu estancia recuerda entregar en Relaciones Internacionales la Encuesta de Satisfacción SICUE.
Matrícula en la UEx:
Una vez realizado el trámite anterior, debes dirigirte a la Secretaría de tu Centro/Facultad de destino para formalizar la matrícula como alumno SICUE mediante el Impreso de matrícula para estudiantes participantes en los Programas de Movilidad – Anexo 3-. Deberás llevar contigo un ejemplar del Acuerdo Académico- Impreso C- firmado por todas las partes.
Los cambios a la matrícula se realizan a través del Anexo 3-B- Impreso Cambios Matricula.
Calificaciones:
El Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales expedirá un certificado con las calificaciones obtenidas por el estudiante y lo remitirá, en cada convocatoria, al Servicio de la universidad de origen que gestione el Programa de Movilidad SICUE.
Renuncia:
En caso de renuncia al intercambio entregar en el Secretariado de Relaciones Internacionales el modelo de renuncia SICUE.
