Simple present juga terbagi menjadi general statmen dan habits/repeated activity.

Simple present tenses di gunakan untuk mengungkapkan/ menggambarkan suatu peristiwa atau

kejadian sekarang dalam bentuk paling sederhana. Contoh

(+) she is sick

(-) she is not sick

(?) is she sick?

Yes, she is sick/ no she is sick

-simple past tenses di gunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu peristiwa. Contoh

* did you go school yesterday

*did he visit then yesterday

- present continuous adalah present yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu

peristiwa/perbuatan yang sedang berlangsung. Contoh

1. I am writing a letter now

2. are you inspecting single part of CN 235?

-past continous adalah past yang digunakan untuk mengungkapakan suatu peristiwa yang sedang

berlangsung sementara peristiwa lain timbul. Contoh kalimat berita

1. they were solving the problem while they sought this book

2. he was finishing that job when invited me to the party
