vi Universitas Kristen Maranatha ABSTRAK Saat ini, kemajuan teknologi menawarkan berbagai sistem komputerisasi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi suatu proses bisnis. Sistem komputerisasi yang mengikuti kemajuan teknologi, membantu perusahaan agar proses yang ada berjalan dengan lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien. Ditambah dengan adanya teknologi internet, tidak ada lagi batasan jarak dan waktu untuk mendapatkan sebuah informasi. Kebutuhan informasi dirasa penting bagi semua orang. Termasuk pengunjung yang membutuhkan informasi secara detail tentang segala jenis pelayanan dan fasilitas hotel. Selama ini, Hotel Le Beringin masih menggunakan cara tradisional dalam penyampaian informasi kepada pengunjung. Oleh karena itu dirancang suatu sistem informasi yang dapat membantu dalam menyampaikan informasi hotel dan pemesanan kamar. Sistem yang dibangun berbasis web dan memiliki manfaat sebagai media penyampai informasi yang terstruktur, konsisten dan dinamis dalam satu paket, sekaligus sebagai strategi marketing bagi hotel. Adapun metodologi yang digunakan adalah dimulai dengan identifikasi dan analisa kebutuhan informasi melalui survei lapangan dan konsultasi dengan pengelola hotel sebagai bahan isi materi website. ABSTRAK

Saat ini, kemajuan teknologi menawarkan berbagai sistem komputerisasi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi suatu proses bisnis. Sistem komputerisasi yang mengikuti kemajuan teknologi, membantu perusahaan agar proses yang ada berjalan dengan lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien. Ditambah dengan adanya teknologi internet, tidak ada lagi batasan jarak dan waktu untuk mendapatkan sebuah informasi.

Kebutuhan informasi dirasa penting bagi semua orang. Termasuk pengunjung yang membutuhkan informasi secara detail tentang segala jenis pelayanan dan fasilitas hotel. Selama ini, Hotel Le Beringin masih menggunakan cara tradisional dalam penyampaian informasi kepada pengunjung. Oleh karena itu dirancang suatu sistem informasi yang dapat membantu dalam menyampaikan informasi hotel dan pemesanan kamar. Sistem yang dibangun berbasis web dan memiliki manfaat sebagai media penyampai informasi yang terstruktur, konsisten dan dinamis dalam satu paket, sekaligus sebagai strategi marketing bagi hotel.

Adapun metodologi yang digunakan adalah dimulai dengan identifikasi dan analisa kebutuhan informasi melalui survei lapangan dan konsultasi dengan pengelola hotel sebagai bahan isi materi website. Identifikasi kebutuhan sistem dan desain sistem dengan DFD. Implementasi dari desain sistem menggunakan teknologi PHP, CSS dan MySQL.

ABSTRACT

Technology development offering many computerization system that can be used to increase effectivity and efficiency a business process recently. Computerization system which follow the technology development, help all the process in the company go faster, more effective and efficient. Increasingly with internet technology, there are no more distance and time limitation to obtain the information. The information necessity it seems to be important for people, including hotels visitor who need the detail information about the hotel, service and facilities. While Le Beringin Hotel utilize a traditional style to inform the visitors. Because of that situation, an information system which support the hotel information delivery and room ordering must be program a system that informed have a benefit like web as a base, structure, consistent and dynamic information delivery media in one package and as a hotel strategy at once. The metodolgy begin with the identification and information need analysis throught field survey, consultation with the hotel executive (organizer, manager) as a material of the websie content. Identification of a system necessity and design with DFD. Implementation of the system desin using PHP,CSS and MySQL technology.
