Animal processingAfter a complete bleeding, immerse the animal in hot water at 65°/70°C being careful not to burn yourself and the animal skin with the hot water. For the web-footed animals, immerse the animal rubbing it with a litt-le rake both on the back and chest and raise the feathers to let the water penetrate between them in order to get a uniform wetting. For both chickens and web-footed animals at wetting, shake the ani-mal several times and verify that the release of feathers happens with ease. After the wetting, put the animal at the centre of the plucking machi-ne, close the lid and operate the machine for 8/10 seconds (plucking time). If the plucking time is longer there is the possibility to ruin the animal.Small residuals of feathers are normal, do not keep the machine wor-king over the indicated time in order not to damage the animal.If the animal is stuck in the internal rubber fingers, stop the machine and place it again in the centre in order not to damage it.

Bearbeitung des tieres Sobal das Tier vollständig ausgeblutet ist, wird es in die Wanne mit einer Wassertemperatur von 60/65° C getaucht, wobei man darauf achten muss, dass die Haut des Tieres nicht verletzt oder verbrannt wird. Bei Geflügel mit Schwimmhäuten soll das Tier erst eingetaucht werden, nachdem das Federkleid mit einer Bürste an Brust und aufge-stellt wurde, damit das Wasser überall in die Federn eindringen kann und dadurch gleichmässig nass wird. Bei allen Gerlügelarten ist es wichtig, dass die Tiere in der Phase des Eintauchens einige Male hin und geschwenkt werden.Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass sich die Federn danach ganz leicht lösen lassen. Nach dem Badevorgang wird das Tier in die Mitte der Rupfmaschine positioniert, der Deckel geschlossen und das Gerät für 8-10 Sekunder eingeschaltet (die Zeit des Rupfvorganges). Zu lange Ein-schaltdauer kann das Tier beschädigen.Kleine, verbleibende Reste von Federn sind normal, d.h. man soll das Tier nicht über die angegebene Zeit hinaus bearbeiten, um es nicht zu ruinieren.Wenn das Tier sich in den inneren Gummifingern festsetzt, soll das Gerät ausgeschaltet und das Tier erneut positioniert werden, um so eine Beschädigung des Tieres zu vermeiden.
