Piracy is the activity of seizing goods or rights ofothers. Piracy is generally connected with shiphijacking by pirates, despite frequent hijackingof planes, buses and trains. There was also a

means of copyright piracy counterfeiting,brandand soon.Piracy on the Internet is or piracy Piracy is aterm used to describe a wide range of activities

of illegal file sharing, illegal downloads orcounterfeiting (forgery) relating to theInternet. Internet piracy is a dangerous thing,and usually tend to be classified as illegal andeven criminal acts.

Article 3 paragraph 2 of Law No. 19 of 2002concerning Copyrights, it issaid that the Copyright may be transferred, either inwhole or in part by:(a) Inheritance,

(b) Grants,(c) Testament,(d) a written agreement,and(e) other causes are justified by rules and

regulations.

In Article 72 paragraph 3 of Law No. 19Year 2002 concerning copyright piracymentionthe perpetrator can be punished up tofive years imprisonment or a maximumfine of Rp500 million.

parties and difficult to eradicate, especially

piracy conducted over the internet. Throughthe internet, piracy is very easy to do

because on the internet all the software we

can get for free of charge, such as songs,

movies, games, and much more.
