    Description

The Description Stage: In this stage, we try to

identify the basic images depicted by the artist,

    that is:

a middle-aged woman, three young women and two

    young men.

    Formal analysis

    Formal Analysis Stage:

This stage limi ts the observat ion to theformal elements found on the surface, such

as co lou r, space, shape, form , l ines and

    texture.

How far these elements interact to produceeffects of m otion, balance, contrast,

This stage requires in-depth exp lorat ion . We the

images portrayed as symbols to enable us to

analyse in m ore detai l . We begin b y ask ing qu est ions as a s imp le guide in our search for

    answers

    who is the middle-aged woman?,

what is her character l ike?

what is her character l ike?,

how is the character /sty le presented by the youths ?.

    Hypothesis

This stage enables us to make assumpt ions

based on the answers to the quest ions

    posed. The assumptions are,

the art ist is try ing to make a social cr i t ic ism on the

The art ist made a comparison between Bosn ia where
