Thanks to our strategic partnership with the Cepu Block partners, the government and most importantly the local communities, Banyu Urip has reached a production capacity of 185,000 barrels per day – over 20 percent of Indonesia’s oil production target, and conducted a high-rate test of over 200,000 barrels per day to ensure a safe and reliable operations with no environmental impact.

EMCL is conducting high test rate safely with no impact to the environment. The test was required to increase production rate and fulfill Indonesia energy needs.

Foreword

More than 15 years ago, Indonesia’s largest oil discovery in decades was made in Banyu Urip Field. Community programs focusing on three illars (education, community health, and local economic development), were implemented to improve the quality of life of the local community in Bojonegoro, Tuban, and Blora. Over 38,000 community members have benefitted from these programs, and the number will keep growing. We continue to implement these programs by maintaining strong collaboration with the community, NGOs, and local government. We strive to make it possible.
