Cabinet has been designed to protect both the material to be manipulated fromcontamination and to protect the operator and the environment from cytotoxiccontamination and harmful agents. Manufactured according to EN 12469:2000 andDIN 12980:2005 standards, with about 70% laminar flow recirculated air and 30%exhausted air with prior HEPA filtering. Cabinets meet also EN12469:2000 as for Class IIMicrobiological Safety Cabinets, they can be used also for: Microbiology, Virology,Haematology, Cell culture, Recombinant DNA.Ergonomic Design: The angled sloping front stratified safety-glass sash providesoptimum visibility of all objects placed in the interior workspace. The sash iselectrically operated. Pressing the appropriate touch-sensitive keys will completelyopen or completely close down the sash. The standard sash-height opening duringwork is set to 200 mm. Alternative sash-height settings by the factory are possibleupon request. The whole front of the safety cabinet – which includes the sashmechanism – can also be opened upwards as it is hinged on the top – in order toallow easy access for complete and effective cleaning and decontamination.
