PADA Sabtu (6/11), Pon-dok Pesantren Darun-najah, Ulujami Jakarta

Selatan, dipenuhi ratusan anak-anak berpakaian putih, termasuk dari TK Negeri Pem-bina Tingkat Nasional, Jakarta Selatan.

Meskipun harus berkumpul di sana sejak pukul 07.00 pagi, mereka bersemangat meng-hadapi hari istimewa ini. Ya! Teman-teman dari beberapa TK di Jakarta Selatan itu akan melakukan manasik haji, latih-an berhaji.

Mereka seolah-olah sedang melaksanakan ibadah haji. Mu lai dari berangkat bersama rombongan kloter dari Indone-sia, hingga melakukan berbagai ritual di tanah suci Mekah dan Madinah.

Anak perempuan menggu-nakan baju muslim, sedangkan teman laki-laki memakai pakai-an ihram, pakaian wajib untuk ibadah haji atau umrah.

Tidak boleh dijahit, jadi hanya dililit ke seluruh tubuh. Lucu-nya, saking besar, kain putih mi rip handuk yang dipakai un-tuk dililitkan ke badan mereka, ada haji cilik yang ihramnya se-lalu kedodoran waktu berjalan. Untung ada ibu guru yang bisa membantu, jadi pak haji tidak terlalu kerepotan.

Teman-teman TK B juga ditu-gasi membawa 21 kerikil untuk dilempar ke 3 jumrah, yaitu jum rah sugra, wusta, dan aqa-bah. Masing-masing 7 kerikil un tuk satu jumrah.

Kerikil itu akan dilemparkan ke tong jumrah. Tapi karena

ter lalu bersemangat, teman-teman kita nyaris melempar-kan kerikil ke temannya yang lain karena bentuk tong yang bundar. Aduh jadi ribut sekali waktu lempar jumrah. Untung enggak ada yang terluka. Me-reka juga mesti berdoa sebelum melempar.

Ya, namanya juga latihan, ja di salah-salah sedikit enggak apa-apa kan? Ada yang mena-ngis, salah pakai ihram, atau sa lah lempar kerikil, tapi ada yang berani sambil meneriak-kan doa yang harus dibaca. Ia juga berdiri di barisan paling depan. Teman kita yang ini pa-tut dicontoh ya!

“Manasik Haji memang un-tuk melatih keberanian dan kemandirian. Karena, orang tua tidak ikut mengantar. Juga mengenalkan kegiatan agama supaya anak-anak terinspirasi,” kata Ibu Hartatik, Kepala Seko-lah TK Negeri Pembina Tingkat Nasional.

Menurut Ibu Tatik, manasik haji ini rutin diadakan setiap tahun. Tujuannya, mengenal-kan aktivitas berhaji yang jadi rukun Islam pada murid TK se jak dini.

Anak-anak TK ini belajar ba-nyak hari itu. Jadi ingat waktu mengantar kakek haji dulu, ya! (*/M-2)

Along time ago, there was a kingdom in Kediri, East Java. The king had a very beautiful daughter. Her name was Dewi Kilisuci. The princess was very beautiful. She was very famous. Many young men fell in love with

her. They proposed the princess to be their wife. However, the princess always rejected the proposal.

One of the men who came and proposed the princess was King Lembu Suro. He was not an ordinary king. He had great supernatural power. And he looked very strange. He did not have a human head. Instead, his head exactly looked like a cow. That was why his name was Lembu, which means a cow.

Dewi Kilisuci was very confused. She knew that King Lembu Suro was very powerful. He had many soldiers. Some of them were genies. She also knew that the king was very mean. He would hit and destroy anything if his wishes did not come true. The princess was thinking how she could refuse the proposal. And then, she got an idea.

“I will accept your proposal. How-ever, I have one re-quest,” said the princess. “Ha.. ha.. ha.. I’m glad you will accept my proposal. Just tell me, My Dear. What can I do for you? With my po wer, I can do anything,” said K i n g L e m b u Suro.

“ L i s t e n . I want to take a bath on the top of a mountain. And I want to do it on the top of Kelud Mountain. Howev-er, there is no a well there. I want you to dig and make a deep well,” asked the princess.

“That’s all? H a . . h a . . h a . . that’s so easy for me,” said King Lembu Suro.

P r i n c e s s Dewi Kilisuci was silent. She did not think that the king would accept the challenge. S h e w a s t h i n k i n g and finally she got ano ther idea.

“No, that’s not all. I want you to fi nish the well within one night. The well has to be fi nished before sunrise,” said the princess.

“Ha..ha..ha.. that’s still not a problem for me. Just wait, you will

see the well to be ready early in the morning.”The princess was so scared. She hoped the king could not fi nish

the well before sunrise. Sadly, her fear came true. The king could fi nish the well before sunrise. He asked all his genies soldiers to make the well.

“I have fi nished the well. Now, will you marry me?” asked the king.

The princess was thinking another idea. And she got a good one. She asked all the kingdom soldiers to accompany her.

“I’m not going to believe it if I don’t see it with my own eyes.”

“No problem, I will take you there.”

“OK, but you have to go alone. Don’t bring your soldiers. Mean-

while, I will bring my soldiers,” said the princess.

Later, King Lembu Suro, Princess Dewi Kili Suci,

and her soldiers went to the top of Kelud

Mountaid. When they reached the

top, the princess pretended to b e a m a z e d with the well. Whi le she was stand-ing at the side of the w e l l , s h e d r o p p e d h e r r i n g . King Lem-bu Suro did not want to see the prin-cess sad. He

jumped to the well to take the ring. And when the king was inside the well, the prin-cess immedi-

ately asked her soldiers to close the

well with big stones. The stones were very

big. King Lembu Suro was help-l ess . He was trap ped inside the well. How-ever, before the well was com-

pletely closed, he was cursing.

“Some day, I will de-stroy this area! I will make this

mountain erupt!”Everyone who heard the curse was scared. To

avoid the curse from happening, they regularly gave offering. The habit continues until now.

People always give offering with hope that their place will be safe from the eruption.
