3.1.

KEPENDUDUKAN / Population

Data kependudukan merupakan data yang

bersifat dinamis dan strategis. Disebut

dinamis karena jumlah penduduk terus

mengalami perubahan dalam satu kurun

waktu tertentu akibat mobilitas penduduk.

Data penduduk juga merupakan data yang

strategis karena digunakan sebagai

perencanaan pembangunan suatu daerah.

Population data is the data that is

dynamic and strategic. Called dynamic

because the population continues to

change within a certain period of time

due to the mobility of the population.

Population data is also strategic because

the data is used as a regional

development plan.

Data penduduk dapat dikumpulkan melalui

dua cara, yaitu dengan registrasi dan

sensus. Data registrasi dikumpulkan melalui

penduduk yang melapor kepada aparat

setempat, sedangkan sensus dilakukan

dengan pendataan langsung oleh petugas

sensus. Data hasil registrasi diperoleh dari

Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota

Bekasi. Sedangkan data hasil sensus

diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kota

Bekasi. Walaupun sama-sama berupa datapenduduk, tetapi memiliki konsep berbeda.

Konsep penduduk menurut BPS: Penduduk

adalah semua orang yang berdomisili di

wilayah geografis Republik Indonesia selama

6 bulan atau lebih dan atau mereka yang

berdomisili kurang dari 6 bulan tetapi

bertujuan menetap.

Konsep penduduk menurut Badan

Kependudukan dan Catatan sipil: penduduk

adalah orang yang mempunyai KTP dan

atau mempunyai KK (beridentitas)

Penduduk Kota Bekasi tahun

2012berdasarkan data penduduk yang

dipublikasikan oleh Dinas Kependudukandan Catatan Sipil adalah 2.334.142 jiwa

terdiri dari penduduk laki-laki sebanyak

The data published by Department of

Population and Civil Regristration of

Bekasi City shows that population of the

city in 2012is comprised of the 2.334.142

people, consist of 1.189.733 male and 1.144.409 female and the sex ratio of

dan rasio jenis kelamin 103,96.

Jumlah penduduk ini tersebar pada 12

kecamatan. Berdasarkan publikasi yang

dilakukan oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan

Catatan SIpil, penyebaran tertinggi pada

Kecamatan Bekasi Utara sebanyak 12,84%

(299.648 jiwa), Bekasi Barat 12,51%

(292.015 jiwa), Bekasi Timur 11,52%

(268.922) dan terendah di Kecamatan

Bantargebang sebesar 3,86% (90.027 jiwa).

Konsep penduduk menurut BPS:

Penduduk adalah semua orang yang

berdomisili di wilayah geografis Republik

Indonesia selama 6 bulan atau lebih dan

atau mereka yang berdomisili kurang dari 6bulan tetapi bertujuan menetap.

Konsep penduduk menurut Badan

Kependudukan dan Catatan sipil: penduduk

By subdistrict location, Bekasi City

population doesn’t spread out flatly. The

most population is in Bekasi Utara

Subdistrict about 12,84%

(299.648persons), followed by Bekasi

Barat Subdistrict about 12,51% (292.015

persons), Bekasi Timur Subdistrict about

11,52% (268.922 persons), otherwise the

least population district was

Bantargebang Subdistrict about 3,86%

(90.027jiwa).

3.2.

KETENAGAKERJAAN / Employment

Tenaga kerja merupakan penduduk yang

berada dalam usia kerja. Menurut UU

Nomor 13 tahun 2003 Bab I pasal 1 ayat

2 disebutkan bahwa tenaga kerja adalah

setiap orang yang mampu melakukan

pekerjaan guna menghasilkan barang

dan atau jasa baik untuk memenuhi

kebutuhan sendiri maupun untuk

masyarakat. Secara garis besar

penduduk suatu negara dibedakan

menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu tenaga kerja

dan bukan tenaga kerja. Penduduk

tergolong tenaga kerja jika penduduk

tersebut telah memasuki usia kerja. Batasusia kerja yang berlaku di Indonesia

adalah berumur 15 tahun – 64 tahun.

Berdasarkan batas kerja, penduduk usia

kerja dibagi menjadi angkatan kerja dan

bukan angkatan kerja. Angkatan kerja

adalah penduduk usia produktif yang

berusia 15-64 tahun yang sudah

mempunyai pekerjaan tetapi sementara

tidak bekerja, maupun yang sedang aktif

mencari pekerjaan. Bukan angkatan kerja

adalah mereka yang berumur 10 tahun ke

atas yang kegiatannya hanya bersekolah,

mengurus rumah tangga dan sebagainya.

Contoh kelompok ini adalah: anak

sekolah dan mahasiswa, para ibu rumah

tangga dan orang cacat, dan para

Konsep bekerja yang diterapkan oleh

BPS adalah kegiatan melakukan aktifitas

dengan maksud memperoleh atau

membantu memperoleh penghasilan

paling sedikit dilakukan selama satu jam

secara berturut-turut dan tidak terputus

dalam seminggu yang lalu.

Pengangguran adalah penduduk yang

tidak atau belum bekerja yang sedang

atau ingin mencari pekerjaan.

Pengangguran yang dimaksud disini

adalah pengangguran terbuka.

Berdasarkan catatan Dinas Tenaga Kerja

dan Transmigrasi Kota Bekasi, jumlah

pencari kerja terdaftar pada tahun 2011

ada 29.384 orang sedangkan pada tahun

2012 ada 32.885 orang. Sebagian besar

pencari kerja tersebut adalah mereka

yang berpendidikan SMTA Kejuruan yaitu

17.185 orang dan SMTA Umum 8.490

orang, perguruan tinggi 4.434 orang.

Namun jumlah mereka yang diterima

hanya sekitar 4.628 orang, 2.142 orang

diantaranya yang berpendidikan tamatSMTA Kejuruan dan sebanyak 1.970

orang yang berpendidikan SMTA Umum.

seekers are those who are educated are

General SMTA 8.490 people, 4.434

people college. But the number of those

who received only about 4.682 people,
