Taegeuk 6 – “WATER”  3rd Kup Blue Belt / Red

Stripe Symbolizes the "Kam" which represents water, meaning incessant flow and softness.

  The force of water is undeniable, capable of

creating canyons and moving mountains. We can learn from water that force and power is not the only path as water will always take that of least resistance.

In this poomse, we are seeking calmness, stillness; to be still, yet reflective and like water, retain flexibility and flowing power.

The 19 steps are performed with both the gentleness and power of water as it reflects the Taekwondo Tenet of the Indomitable Spirit.
