UPCYCLING FASHION CENTER

SS2 is situated in Petaling Jaya and it is one of the most established commercial hubs. The existing users of site are a few durian business dealers. These durian stalls are one of the node in SS2.

It is known that there are issues of high amount of waste in SS2. The reason of waste in SS2 still increasing because there is lack of interaction between user and waste in SS2.

UPCYCLING CENTER which promoting recycle activities(second hand cloth and dry material) in SS2. The Project is meant to recycle waste and marginalized communi-ty in complement government effort to promote a green Malaysia.

The design promotes possible interation between the designers and visitor yet it defined the area of users through different spaces and accessibility. Over time, these programmes help to raise the awareness and promote upcycling activities to the society.

site located in Pekan Sepang approximately 50km south of Kuala Lumpur. The Environmental Intepretive Centre(EIC) is one of the programme held on site.

EIC of Sepang is an eco-friendly project, which is jointly managed by the Malaysian Nature Society(MNS). This organisation has been involved in promoting environ-mental education. This Centre is passionate in educating children moral values for the environment through interactive activities. Site offer a unique experience for nature lovers surrounded by river and mangrove tree.

NATURE APPRECIATION CENTER, it help promote EIC progrmme(protect environ-ment). The centre in oder to strike a balance betweeen the community and nature.

Market is one of the most important public domains where people meet. It is also used as the main street and a place for meeting people, seeing and being seen.
