    KATA PENGANTAR

Statistik Ekspor Indonesia menurut Kode SITC (Standard International Trade

    PREFACE

Indonesia Export Statistics by SITC (Standard International Trade

Classification) codes is a complement to the existing export statistics publication which is

issued by the Export Statistics Subdirectorate.

Preparation of this publication is based on the data conversion from HS

(Harmonized System) code to SITC code. This is intended to be comparable

internationally. This publication presents exports data by SITC 1, 2 and 3 digits coding

system, and break down by country of destination and port of loading.

Finally, we expect suggestions and constructive criticism to improve this

publication from the data consumers. Thus, communication which mutually beneficial

between Statistics-Indonesia as data provider, particularly the exports data, and the

practitioners, researchers, the government institutions and private, as the data users, is

expected can be upgraded from time to time.

Laju pertumbuhan rata - rata total ekspor selama sepuluh tahun sebesar 6,62 persen.

The growth of Indonesian exports during

the last ten years (2003-2012) is presented in

    Table 1 and Graph 1. From 2003 until 2008,

    Indonesian export showed increasing.

Unfortunetely, there is slackness of world trade

in 2009 which decreases Indonesian export by

    14.97 %. At 2011, Indonesian export increased

    significantly by 28.98 percent, from

    US$157,779.1 million to US$ 203,779.1 million.

While, in 2012 Indonesian export decreased

significantly by 6.62 percent to US$190,020.3

    million.

The decreasing of export in 2012

conditioned by the decreasing of oil & gas and

    non-oil & gas sector, export of non-oil & gas

    increased 5.54 percent, from US$162,019.6

million in 2011 to US$153,043.0 million. While,

export of oil & gas decreased by 10.85 percent.

The average growth of Indonesias export during

    ten years was 6,62 percent.
