Civil Engineering State Polytechnic of Malang. Advisor: Tutuk Widowati

 Bored pile foundation is a deep one applied to heavy-load construction. The

 purpose of the final project is to design a bored pile foundation to support a two-floor

 school building construction of 71 x 19.4 m of 11.3 m tall and to get an economical

budget.

 Loading calculations were from the roof to sub structure. To find out the total

loadings, ASD (Analysis Stress Design ) and LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design) were employed, soil data were obtained through CPT (Cone Penetration Test).

The results of loading and CPT were processed to obtain bearing capacity of pile and

 group piles. The next step is to determine the dimensions of the pile cap and predict the

 settlement. The bored pile foundation is said to be strong and usable if the settlement is

allowable. After that the reinforcement and budget of foundation can be calculated.

The loading calculations result in 200.100.5,5.8 profile of gable frame, and the

reaction of column that will be carried by foundation is 147,000 kg with momen of

93,100 kg.m for ASD combination and 181,000 kg with momen of 112,000 kg.m for

 LRFD combination; pile bearing capacity of (105265 kg) and group piles bearingcapacity of(281983 kg); pile dimension of (0,5m x 4m); pile cap dimension of (3m x 3m

 x 0,7m); foundation settlement of (7,02 cm); (8 D22 ) pile steel bar, and (100 mm D29 )

 pile cap steel bar at a total budget of IDR (Rp 1.954.713.821,64).
