ABSTRAK

kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu di
Kecamatan Cimanggis, Depok, Jawa Barat. Tesis. Program Pascasarjana

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengamati dan mengetahui pengaruh antara
kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi kerja guru
Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT).
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Cimanggis Kota Depok, dengan metode
penelitian lapangan melalui survei, menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi target guru
Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu di Kecamatan Cimanggis, sedangkan populasi
terjangkau adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu di Kecamatan Cimanggis yang
memiliki masa kerja minimal dua tahun dengan menggunakan teknik proporsional
random sampling, jumlah populasi 158 dan jumlah sampel 61 orang.
Penelitian ini terdapat 3 hipotesis, yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif antara: 1)
Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi kerja guru 2) Kompetensi guru
terhadap prestasi kerja guru 3) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi
guru.
Uji coba intrumen untuk mendapatkan validitas butir pernyataan dan reliabilitas
instrumen dengan Pearson Product Moment dan Alpha Cronbach. Instrumen
kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki reliabilitas rtt=0,97, kompetensi guru
memiliki reliabilitas rtt=0,96, dan prestasi kerja guru memiliki reliabilitas rtt = 0,92.
Ramalan pengaruh dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana tunggal.
Hasilnya disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan
kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1) terhadap prestasi kerja guru (X3) memperoleh
persamaan regresi 13 7950,07,22ˆ XX , koefisien korelasi r31= 0,6123 dan
koefisien determinasi R2
31= 37,49 dengan angka koefisien jalur P31 = 0,43 pada taraf
signifikansi α = 0,05. (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi guru

Berdasarkan hasil penemuan tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa prestasi kerja guru
meningkat apabila kepemimpinan kepala sekolah optimal dan kompetensi guru
tinggi.
Upaya mengoptimalkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat dilakukan melalui;
kepemimpinan yang mengakomodir perubahan dan manajemen atau pengelolaan
sekolah yang baik, sedangkan upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru dilakukan melalui
pembinaan dan pelatihan guru.
Akhirnya hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi dunia
pendidikan dan untuk peningkatan prestasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu
yang berada di bawah naungan JSIT (Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu) di wilayah
Depok, khususnya prestasi kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu di Kecamatan
Cimanggis, Depok.

The purpose of this research is to observe and measure the influence between
principal leadership and teacher competency toward teacher work performance of
Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT).
This research was conducted in sub district of Cimanggis – Depok. It used
field research method by doing survey and questionnaires. The target population is
teachers of Integrated Islamic Elementary School in sub district of Cimanggis and the
attainable population is teachers of Integrated Islamic Elementary School who have
minimum two years long in their work term in sub district of Cimanggis by using
proportional random sampling. The number of population is 158 people and the
number of sample is 61 people.
There are 3 hypotheses in this research which are indicating positive
influence between these three aspects: 1) the principal leadership toward teacher
work performance. 2) The teacher competence toward work performance. 3) The
principal leadership toward teacher competence.
The instrument test is done with Pearson Product Moment and Cronbach
Alpha to obtain a validity of statement and instrument reliability. The instrument of
principal leadership has reliability rtt = 0,97; teacher competence has reliability rtt
= 0,96; and teacher performance has reliability rtt = 0,92.
The influence prediction was analyzed by using a single simple regression. It
can be concluded that: 1) there is positive and significant influence of principal
leadership (X1) toward teacher work performance (X3), it obtains an equation of

Based on the result, it can be concluded that teacher work performance will
increase if both of principal leadership is optimum and teacher competence is high.
The effort to maximize the principal leadership can be done through: a
leadership which is can accommodate the change and good school management. And
the effort to increase the competence of teacher can be done through: teacher
guidance and training.
Finally, the result of this research is expected to be useful for world of
education. Furthermore, it is also expected to be able to increase teacher work
performance of Integrated Islamic Elementary School which is under JSIT
(Integrated Islamic School Network) in Depok, especially teacher work performance
of Integrated Islamic Elementary School in sub district of Cimanggis – Depok.
