    As HDTV becomes more popular in home entertainment systems, the demand for full HD 1080p video content has also increase, such as for medical imaging, and multimedia devices.

    Multimedia devices such as set-top boxes, Blu-ray Disc players, and gaming consoles can convert SD (standard definition) and HD (high definition) video source data into digital full HD 1080p content for HDTV output.     Molecular imaging is the visualization, characterization, and measurement of biological processes at the molecular and cellular levels in humans and other living systems. It enables the visualization of the cellular function and the follow-up of the molecular process in living organisms without disturbing them.     IntroductionEmbedded vision systems, also referred to as compact vision systems, offer an alternative to Smart cameras and computer-based systems. The ADLINK EOS series is a complete embedded system that offers image acquisition, processing, archiving, and display capabilities.
