This is continuation of this Department letter No. 12(5) RP/P&D/2009 dated03.03.2010 on the subject cited above.

Status of release of funds against the advice issued by Finance Department (copy

attached) shows that in most of the cases field formation have not approached Finance

Department for released of funds.

You are requested to kindly establish a contact with Finance Department for

release of funds for the schemes initiated under Southern Punjab Development Programme

(SPDP).

schemes identified under Southern Punjab Development Programme (SPDP). The information is

required for the meeting being held by Chief Secretary on 14-04-2010, and for the meeting

schedule to be held on 20-04-2010 by Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab.

It is mentioned that schemes pertaining to SPDP including three divisions

(Bahawalpur, D.G.Khan and Multan) have already been forwarded to Finance Department for

release of funds to SPDP schemes vide this letter of even No. dated 03-03-2010. The report is
