    SIMPLE MACHINE

    1. Define of simple machine isThere are four kind of simple machine

    a. Laversb. Pulleyc. Wheeld. Ramp

    2. LaversLaver can be classes into three classes.

    a. In a first class lever the fulcrum is in the middle and the load and effort is oneither side. Example

    b. In a second class lever the fulcrum is at the end, with the load in the middlec. In a second class lever the fulcrum is at the end, with the load in the middle

    3. PulleyA pulley consists of a wheel with a rope or cable placed around the wheel.

    A pulley can change the direction of the force or decrease the amount of input

    force, depending on if it is a fixed or movable pulley

    4. WheelThe wheel and axle is a simple machine made up of a wheel connected to a post.

    The post is called the axle.

    5. Inclined PlaneInclined Plane is a sloping surface that makes it easier to move objects to a higher

    or lower place

    material.
