Google said the following:

“Penguin now devalues spam by adjustingranking based on spam signals, rather than affecting

ranking of the whole site.”

BUT THEN THEY SAID...

“No, it means it affects finer granularity than sites.It does not mean it only affects pages.”

Google now devalues link spamrather than demoting sites.

But many questions remain.

You no longer need touse the disavow tool.

Google now ignoresspammy links.

You need links for any typeof meaningful recovery.

So now what do you do?

Audit your disavow file.

Disavow at your own risk.

Triple check.
