Deep Fried Tempe with Spiced Batter

INGREDIENTS 400 gr Tempe 90 gr All-purpose flour 90 gr Rice flour 8 gr Baking Powder (1/2 tsp) 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tbsp Salt 200 ml Water 1 pcs. Spring onion, chopped

1 cm Fresh Turmeric 1 cm Ginger 3 pcs. Garlic 3 pcs. Shallot 1/2 cup Water

Dipping Sauce (Optional) Sweet Soy sauce (Kecap Manis) Chilies Pinch of salt

Total Time: 30 minutes Servings: 3-4

DIRECTION

A. (1)… one block of Tempe into 10-12 slices. Set aside. B. Prepare the blend ingredients using blender. C. In a big bowl, prepare the batter. Add in all the ingredients: all-purpose flour, rice flour,

Quick and easy recipe for homemade meatballs in tomato sauce. This dish is perfect for dinner and lunch. Serve these meatballs with pasta, rice or potatoes and your family will love it! INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1. Finely chop onion and parsley. Crush garlic cloves. In a large bowl place the beef, chopped onion, parsley, crushed garlic, egg, bread crumbs and seasoning. Mix well with your hands until all combined.

2. To Form into balls. In a large pan heat oil over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for about 1 minute for each side until lightly brown and remove from the pan.

3. For the sauce: chop onion, slice garlic cloves, chili pepper and basil. 4. In the same pan sauté onion for 4-5 minutes. Add sliced garlic and chili, sauté for 3-4

minutes more. Add tomato sauce, fill the empty tins of the tomato sauce with water (about 600 ml) and pour into the pan, add tomato paste, basil leaves, season with salt, pepper, paprika and stir.

5. Bring to sauce to a boil, transfer the browned meatballs to the sauce, reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for about 30-40 minutes. Serve.

FRENCH TOAST Ingredients :

while shaking pan to agitate eggs; make sure to move fork all around pan to break up

curds and scrape them from bottom of skillet as they form. Stop stirring as soon as eggs

are very softly scrambled and creamy (but still loose enough to come together into a single

mass), 1 to 2 minutes.

4. Hold skillet right over plate and turn omelette out onto it. It should be almond- or cigar-

shaped, with the seam on bottom; if it's not, lay a clean kitchen towel over it and use your

hands to adjust its shape and position, then remove towel. Serve. (To make another

omelette, wipe any eggy bits out of skillet and repeat.)

over itself until it is nearly folded in half. Using fork, push omelette to edge of skillet so that
