Segala syukur tak hentinya dipanjatkan kepada Allah SWT yang telah
memberikan rahmat dan kuasa-Nya, sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan Tugas
Akhir yang berjudul Eksperimental Kreatif Motion Comic “Sebuah Arti” dengan
baik dan tepat waktu.
Tugas Akhir ini dibuat sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan untuk
memperoleh gelar strata satu di bidang seni (S.Sn) Universitas Multimedia
Nusantara. Penulis berharap Tugas Akhir ini kedepannya akan berguna, baik
untuk kalangan internal maupun eksternal Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
Penulis juga berharap, dengan adanya motion comic “Sebuah Arti” ini,
para pembaca dan pemirsa dapat lebih memahami arti dari sebuah kehadiran
orang-orang terdekatnya, serta tidak menyia-nyiakan orang yang selalu ada di
sekelilingnya. Sehingga, pemirsa dapat lebih menyayangi dan menghargai

ABSTRAKSI
Komik saat ini tidak lagi hanya dijumpai di media massa seperti koran, ataupun
dalam bentuk buku. Dengan semakin berkembang pesatnya teknologi digital,
komik dapat dibuat dalam media apapun, serta bentuknya pun memungkinkan
menjadi lebih bervariasi. Komik juga tidak lagi berfungsi hanya sebagai
penghibur, melainkan dapat juga digunakan untuk keperluan lain, seperti halnya
penyampaian informasi dan juga pendidikan moral.
Langkah-langkah yang penulis lakukan dalam pembuatan karya ini,
diawali dengan perumusan ide cerita dan pembuatan konsep karakter serta
lingkungannya. Setelah konsep matang, penulis mulai melakukan drawing, yang
dilanjutkan dengan inking. Penulis lalu mengkomposisikan adegan dan latar
belakang menjadi satu kesatuan kombinasi di dalam frame.
Berdasarkan penemuan yang di dapatkan, visualisasi adegan dramatis
dapat diperoleh dengan berbagai cara. Perancangan layout yang baik, pemilihan
teknik pengambilan gambar, pemilihan warna, dan kombinasi antar elemen di
dalam satu panel ataupun antar panel harus diperhatikan.
Hasil karya tugas akhir ini diharapkan dapat menjadi suatu karya yang
tidak hanya dapat dinikmati karena menghibur, tetapi juga pemirsa dapat memetik
sebuah pesan moral yang terkandung di dalamnya.

ABSTRACT
Current comics are no longer just found in the mass media such as newspapers, or
in book form. With its rapidly growing digital technology, comic books can be
created in any medium, as well as its shape also allows it to be more varied.
Comics also ceased to function only as a performer, but can also be used for other
purposes, such as delivering information and also moral education.
The steps that the author did in making this work, beginning with the
formulation of story ideas and making the concept of the character as well as their
surroundings. After the concept matured, the author began conducting drawing,
which continued with the inking. The author then composing scenes and
backgrounds into a single entity in the combination frame.
Based on the discovery in dramatic scenes visualization to get, can be
obtained in many different ways. A good layout design, selection of shooting
technique, color selection, and the combination of an element in a panel or panels
must be observed.
The results of this final project work is expected to be a masterpiece which
not only can be enjoyed entertaining, but also because viewers can pluck a moral
messages contained therein.
