Their Origins

The First generation of Olympian Godswere the sons and daughters of theTitans Cronus and Rhea.

Cronus, having received Gaeasprophecy that he will also be slain by hischildren, tried to avoid it by swallowinghis children.

When the youngest child Zeus was born,Rhea tricked Cronus by giving him alarge rock instead. Zeus was taken to theisland of Crete so he coluld be safe.
