Bab 5. Bahan DiskusiBuku ini akan dikerjakan oleh sejumlah kelompok kerja yang masing-masing terdiri dari beberapaanggota. Banyak hal yang masih harus diputuskan oleh seluruh anggota kelompok kerja secarakonsensus. Untuk itu, dibentuk kelompok kerja 21 yang secara khusus akan mengkoordinasikankegiatan ini. Berikut ini merupakan beberapa masalah yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian.

1. Apa judul buku ini? Apakah akan diberi judul "Sistem Operasi — Bahan Kuliah IKI-20230",atau mungkin akan diberi judul yang lebih keren?

2. Bagaimana bentuk lisensi buku ini? Apakah Hak Cipta dipecah per bab (atau per kelompokkerja), dengan kelompok kerja 21 sebagai "tim editor"? Atau, menggunakan Hak Cipta kolektifuntuk seluruh buku?

3. SGML DTD manakah yang akan digunakan? Apakah menggunakan DocBook? Apakah akanmenggunakan DocBook XML? Versi DocBook manakah yang akan digunakan?

4. Apakah sempat untuk belajar DocBook secara rinci? Atau cukup dengan percepatan, yaitubelajar dari contoh tulisan DocBook ini.

6.1. ContekanSilakan mencermati unix shell script "shsh.txt", yang berisi rincian cara membuat buku inidengan DocBook. Perhatikan bahwa berkas "os-lindex.txt [shsh.txt]" (indeks dari tulisan),dibentuk secara otomatis dengan menggunakan perl script "collateindex.pl".

6.2. Pemilihan Perangkat LunakPerangkat Lunak

Jika menggunakan Debian GNU/Linux, paket "sgmltools-lite" akan sekalianmenginstallkan beberapa paket-paket terkait lainnya seperti "docbook","docbook-dsssl", "python", "jade" (atau "openjade"), "sgml-base", dan seterusnya.
