HUBUNGAN ANTARA SUPERVISI KEPALA RUANG DENGANPELAKSANAAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWATPELAKSANA DI RSUD SUNAN KALIJAGA DEMAK72 Hal + 8 tabel + xvii

Latar Belakang: Komunikasi merupakan alat penghubung dalam bersosiali,sehingga ilmu komunikasi sekarang sangat berkembang pesat. Salah satu kajianilmu komunikasi ialah komunikasi kesehatan, yang dimana selalu dilakukan saatberhubungan dengan pasien, keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan lainnya terdapat tigafaktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perawat dalam melakukan komunikasiterapeutik, salah satunya supervisi, supervisi adalah pengamatan secara langsungdan berkala oleh atasan terhadap pekerjaan yang dilakukan bawahan. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah adakah hubungan supervisi kepala ruang dengan pelaksanaankomunikasi terapeutik perawat pelaksana di RSUD Sunan Kalijaga DemakMetode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desainpenelitian cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan lembarobservasi. Jumlah responden 118 orang dengan teknik random sampling datayang diperoleh diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan chi squareHasil: Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil karakteristik responden sebagian besarberusia 31-40 tahun sebanyak 54 (45.8%), kategori jenis kelamin terbanyakberjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 75 (63.6%), dan kategori pendidikanterbanyak berpendidikan D3 Keperawatan sebanyak 88 (74.6%) dan hasil uji chisquare didapatkan hasil p value 0.001Simpulan: Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil ada hubungan antara supervisikepala ruang dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik perawat pelaksana. Hasilpenelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai informasi, pengetahuan, dan masukanuntuk pengembangan ilmu keperawatan.
