Dr. Hasyim Gautama: Informasi adalah Aset PentingKeamanan jaringan internet terhadap lalu lintas data dan informasi saat ini harus mendapatkan prioritas utama dalam suatu instansi. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari mudahnya beberapa pihak mengakses informasi dengan menggunakan jaringan internet. Informasi adalah aset penting dan perlu dilindungi agar tidak dicuri oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Demikian disampaikan Dr. Hasyim Gautama Pejabat Kementrian Komunikasi Dan Informatika Republik Indonesia (Kemenkominfo RI) dihadapan mahasiswa Program Teknologi Information Dan Ilmu Komputer (PTIIK) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) dalam acara Kuliah Tamu Information Secutity Governance di Gedung Dekanat Lantai Dua Fakultas Teknik pada Kamis (8/3).Lebih lanjut Dr. Hasyim memaparkan tentang beberapa aspek tentang keamanan informasi diantaranya; kerahasiaan, keutuhan, ketersediaan dan nirsangkal. Kerahasiaan adalah pesan yang hanya bisa terbaca oleh penerima yang berhak, paparnya. Selain keamanan informasi Dr. Hasyim juga memaparkan ancaman informasi yang berasal dari manusia.Ancaman paling dekat adalah dari internal sendiri, bisa berasal dari staf internal yang mencatat password atau meninggalkan sistem tanpa di log out terlebih dahulu, ungkapnya. Ancaman lainnya berasal dari Spy yang menyadap data, gejala alam berupa temperature atau bencana alam. Sedangkan ancaman informasi melalui virus salah satu contohnya adalah Virus Trojan yang merekam pesan lalu memodifikasinya dan dikirimkan ke user tujuan. Contohnya Virus Trojan Horse, program tersembunyi yang biasanya menempel pada email atau free games software yang bisa masuk ke sistem, mengakses file sistem bahkan bisa mencuri username dan password, paparnya.Pada penutup presentasinya, Dr. Hasyim menyampaikan bahwa Keminfo saat ini sudah memiliki landasan hukum berupa undang-undang No. 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (ITE) serta surat Edaran Menteri KOMINFO No. 05/SE/M.KOMINFO/07/2011 tentang: Penerapan Tata Kelola Keamanan Informasi. Internet network security for data and information traffics currently must get priority in an institution. It is not free from some of the easy accesses to information using internet network. Information is an important asset and should be protected for not to be stolen by unresponsible people.

This was delivered by Dr. Hashim Gautama, an Officer of Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkominfo RI) in front of the students of Information Technology and Computer Science (PTIIK) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in a Guest Lecturing "Information Securtity Governance" in the second floor of Dekanat Building, Faculty of Engineering on Thursday (8/3).

Furthermore, Dr. Hashim explained about some aspects of information security, including, confidentiality, integrity, availability and non-repudiation. "Confidentiality is a message that can only be read by certain recipients," he explained. In addition to information security, Dr. Hashim also presented information threat from human.

"The closest threat is from internal, it may come from staffs who record the password or leave the system without logging out," he said. Other threats come from a spy who taps the data, natural phenomena in the form of temperature or natural disasters. While the threat of information through a virus, such as, a trojan that records the message, modify and deliver it to the destination user.

"For example, a Trojan Horse, a hidden program which is usually attached to an email or free game softwares that can get into the system, accesses the file system and can even steal your username and password," he explained.

In the closing presentation, Dr. Hashim said that Keminfo currently had the legal basis of law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transaction (ITE) and the Ministry of Communication and Information Circular letter No. 05/SE/M.KOMINFO/07/2011 about "The Implementation of Information Security Governance".
