TARGET AUDIENCE

■ This graphs tells me the types of film that the general population enjoy watching. By using this graph, I can see the amount of people who like watching action films, which is 50%, a lot of people compared to others on this graph.

■ This graph which tells me the demographics of people and what genre they like to watch is helpful as it helps me understand who my target audience is and who I can aim the film towards. I can see that I want to aim my film for males over 35 and around the C1 C2 social class, and my secondary target audience to be aimed at under 35 males around the C1 and C2 social class

■ Only 20% of the general public consider action to be their favourite genre, it may seem like a small amount but it is still fourth on the list out of 27 different genres. This tells me a lot of people enjoy action films and do consider it as their favourite genre.

■ On this graph, the general public want to see more action adventure films in the future. Although action is paired with adventure, they can be seen as the same type of movie and they are both at the top of the list which means they are very popular at the moment. A lot of people in the AB, C1 and C2 social classes want to see more of this genre which means it is liked widely over a large range of people.

■To conclude, it is very obvious action movies are popular and are in high demand as according to this data, the action genre has been high up on each of the graphs and is the most wanted for future films which shows they are in high demand.
