Relationship Between The Type of The NAPZA Based on Groups, Long Used of NAPZA, Length of Stay, and Characteristics of NAPZA Addicsts on Cognitive Function at Badan Narkotika Nasional Lido, Bogor, Sukabumi District of Cigombong, West Java, April 2011. Guided by dr. Ria Maria Theresa, Sp.KJ and dr. Dorlina Nainggolan, M.Biomed. Narcotics are substances or drugs that may cause a decrease in conciousness, loss of taste, reduce and loss of pain and can lead to dependence. It is becoming a threat to the health risks of NAPZA addict is one of them affects cognitive function. Cognitive function includes knowing quality, all the perception on aspect, recognition, conception, feeling, thinking, reasoning, remember, and imagination. This research is to purpose to know relationship between the type of NAPZA based on age, education, groups, long of used, length of stay, and characteristics of NAPZA addicts on cognitive function of NAPZA addicts at Badan Narkotika Nasional Lido, Bogor. This research is descriptive analytical, using research design cross sectional. The population are all the addicts from 10 to 59 years old with the total 86 samples and how the selection of the sample with the Non-Probably sampling technique with consecutive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed with Chi-Square test with significance (p<0.05). The result test show the relation between length of use of NAPZA (p=0.000), length of care (p=0.000) and class of NAPZA (p=0.000) on cognitive function. There is significant relationship between the type of NAPZA based on class, length of use NAPZA and the length of care NAPZA addicts on cognitive function.
