Ioanninabars is an online business that specializes in informing about upcoming events in clubs and bars in the
region and uploading pictures from past events, where they had sent a photog-rapher.
The client requested a rede-sign logo, because of their plans for expansion. They wanted it to be more functional
and attractive in all sizes, with a fresher and more glamorous look, in order to appeal to university students.
Ioannina bars.grLogo redesign.
Socolata (or “chocolate” in greek) is an advertising and marketing company. They requested a redesign because
they wanted a more abstract approach. No brown choco-late tones etc. They wanted it to convey the sexy glossy feel
associated with chocolate with a professional touch.

mediterranean cuisine
The client wanted the brand to reflect a colorful mediterranean cuisine, and at the same time, portray it’s simplicity (hence
the name, bread and olives - the most basic elements in a mediterranean diet). I then proceeded to the making of
cards, an indoor menu as well as a glass coaster according to the brand guidelines.

knitwear for men & women
Woolen was the internet name for a small knitwear industry with many years of activity in the local market. They wished
to expand their operation by taking advantage of the growing online market. Warm and comfortable, were the two
keywords.

A collage of advertisments and columns from the pages of the first and second issue of iBars.gr Magazine.
“Orbit” One of three pages from the “featured” column. This time we presented a clothing co.
“Horoscope” Illustrated signs of the zodiac for the horoscope column. The colors change from one issue
to the next, creating a recog-nisable but varying theme!
iBars.gr MAGAZINEAdvertisment & Columns from the magazine
“Ioanninabars.gr MAGAZINE ID” A page of the magazine ded-icated to the people who help make it come to life. We use it
to help establish the theme of the issue, especially with the use of the background.
“Cocktails” Vertical illustrated 1/2 page mostly used next to half page advertisments.
We used this Hand drawn de-tailed vector map of Ioannina, Greece, for Vip Classic (maga-zine)to advertize the city’s new
“hot spots” or new stores that have recently opened in the region as an unexpected result of the crisis.

children’s fairy tale illustrations so that the children would be excited to use it.

These illustrations of magical fairies, cup cakes and sweets are the magical elements that make up the tapisserie of the
Kolionasios patisserie at the heart of Ioannina, Greece. They cover all the walls, indoor and outdoor. To see how it
turned out, please follow this link.
KolionasiosStore design
Kolionasios is a manufacturer of traditional Greek baklava (the Greek version of the turkish dessert, made with fyllo nuts and syrup). In the past few years, they
have taken this family owned busi-ness and made significant strides, such as renewing their packaging and opening retail shops in Greece and abroad.
The photos that were used on the Kolionasios packaging are the work of Andre Bakker and Kostis Mouselimis. All packaging design ie- backgrounds and lettering, was produced by me for “Lightbox” to whom the Kolionasios account belongs.
About KolionasiosA traditional brand, with a modern promotional approach
Illustration made for “Spaced Feline” a heavy space rock. It depicts a crazy cat mess. What is interresting is that
there is no right way up - any way you rotate it, makes sense. The chaotic composi-tion, and the confusing pen
& ink rendering contribute to the every-which-way disorder commited by the spaced cat (who, by the way, seems to
enjoy it!).
Spilled milk CD Cover illustration
The first covers for iBars Magazine, the printed version of Ioannina bars.gr. A simple design with the basic colors
of iBars so that the public will make the connection.
iBars MAGAZINE 1“Summer in the city” cover art
The cover art for September edition of iBars Magazine. Because... WHO wants to go back to school?
iBars MAGAZINE 2“Back 2 school” cover art
The cover art for the October edition of iBars Magazine. A conceptual representation of the resposibilities that preoc-
cupy young university students who are the main audience of iBars MAGAZINE.
iBars MAGAZINE 3“Multitasking” cover art
Swirly background and rich metallic colors envelop this luxury packaging for mini bak-lava portions (35-40g). I used
Pantone metallic gold, silver and bronze as variations for the three types of baklava.

The challenge was to repre-sent a traditional gift that a tourist might bring home from a trip to Ioannina, Greece.

This is my entry for the BIC Design on Fire competition. It depicts an imaginary mechanism that ignites with a pock-et-dragon poker!

I designed the bag for an aus-tralian brand that specializes in children’s products made of natural materials. This bag
and hang tag with illustrated directions was made for the “Traditional Bamboo Swaddle Blanket”.

I created scarf pattern design for a company located in Ha-waii. They requested the word “aloha!” since their target con-
sumers are tourists. The size is almost one square meter and uses 4 spot colors for screen printing.

Dina Kalo under-stood the project immediately and the
submission was exactly what I was looking for. There was a also different technique that no one else submitted anything similar. Good sense of colors and layout. The style is elegant and clean.
