Karena iterasi membutuhkan banyak perhitungan manual apalagi jika yang harus dihitungan adalah diagram interaksi dinding geser (shear-wall) yang terdiri atas ratusan jumlah tulangan, maka dibuatlah program computer EXCEL-COL dengan output yang ditampilkan adalah perhitungan manual. Namun dalam tulisan ini tidak semua output ditampilkan. Dan hasil output inilah yang dibandingkan dengan output PCACOL. PENDAHULUAN EXCEL-COL adalah program computer yang di compile dengan versi basic/vbasic yang dalam rutine perhitunganya menampilkan output layaknya perhitungan manual yang bisa run sendiri dengan output grafik dan file text maupun output bisa ditampilkan dengan Microsoft Excel baik grafik dan text. Hasil dari outputnya diperbandingkan dengan output PCACOL yang dalam hal ini sebagai program computer standart dari PCA, sehingga program EXCEL-COL memenuhi kelayakan jika hasil output manualnya tidak berbeda jauh dengan PCACOL. Selanjutnya akan dibandingkan hasil output perhitungan beberapa contoh kasus bentuk geometri penampang kolom/shear-wall dengan bentuk penampng tidak beraturan. METODOLOGI Ada beberapa hal yang harus disamakan persepsi terlebih dahulu sebelum membandingkan hasil output antara PCACOL dengan EXCEL-COL, antara lain: 1. Tinjauan Arah Moment Prinsip tinjauan arah moment adalah hal yang sangat penting mengingat alat pembanding yang akan digunakan adalah sebuah program computer, dimana PCACOL meninjau arah moment sebagai sisi desak blok beton/tulangan adalah di sisi bawah sedangkan sisi atas sebagai sisi blok beton/tulangan tarik. Dalam hal ini iterasi tinggi sumbu netral C akan dimulai dari sisi atas bertahap dan berurutan akhirnya sampai di tinggi sumbu netral C=0 yaitu di sisi koordinat garis y ekstrem sisi terbawah. ABSTRAK

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil perhitungan manual diagram interaksi kolom beton bertulang

dengan bentuk tidak beraturan yang hasilnya dibandingkan dengan output program computer PCACOL dari

Portland Cement Associations (PCA) Amerika Serikat. Karena iterasi membutuhkan banyak perhitungan manual

apalagi jika yang harus dihitungan adalah diagram interaksi dinding geser (shear-wall) yang terdiri atas ratusan

jumlah tulangan, maka dibuatlah program computer EXCEL-COL dengan output yang ditampilkan adalah

perhitungan manual. Namun dalam tulisan ini tidak semua output ditampilkan. Dan hasil output inilah yang

dibandingkan dengan output PCACOL.

PENDAHULUAN

EXCEL-COL adalah program computer yang di compile dengan versi basic/vbasic yang dalam rutine

perhitunganya menampilkan output layaknya perhitungan manual yang bisa run sendiri dengan output grafik dan

file text maupun output bisa ditampilkan dengan Microsoft Excel baik grafik dan text. Hasil dari outputnya

diperbandingkan dengan output PCACOL yang dalam hal ini sebagai program computer standart dari PCA,

sehingga program EXCEL-COL memenuhi kelayakan jika hasil output manualnya tidak berbeda jauh dengan

PCACOL. Selanjutnya akan dibandingkan hasil output perhitungan beberapa contoh kasus bentuk geometri

penampang kolom/shear-wall dengan bentuk penampng tidak beraturan.

METODOLOGI

Ada beberapa hal yang harus disamakan persepsi terlebih dahulu sebelum membandingkan hasil output antara

PCACOL dengan EXCEL-COL, antara lain:

1. Tinjauan Arah Moment

Prinsip tinjauan arah moment adalah hal yang sangat penting mengingat alat pembanding yang akan

digunakan adalah sebuah program computer, dimana PCACOL meninjau arah moment sebagai sisi desak

blok beton/tulangan adalah di sisi bawah sedangkan sisi atas sebagai sisi blok beton/tulangan tarik. Dalam

hal ini iterasi tinggi sumbu netral C akan dimulai dari sisi atas bertahap dan berurutan akhirnya sampai di

tinggi sumbu netral C=0 yaitu di sisi koordinat garis y ekstrem sisi terbawah.

Namun sebaliknya program EXCEL-COL justru meninjau tinggi sumbu netral dimulai dari bawah

menuju ke koordinat ekstrem sisi teratas, sehingga untuk membandingkan hasilnya maka gambar

penampang harus dibalik atau diputar 180 derajat di titik beratnya dibanding gambar PCACOL.

Sedangkan untuk membandingkan output rotasi 45 derajat di PCACOL sama dengan diputar minus 135

derajat dititik beratnya dibanding gambar di EXCEL-COL.

2. Unit Satuan

Unit Satuan dalam PCACOL adalah kNm sedangkan di EXCEL-COL adalah Kgcm, sehingga konversi

dari moment KNm ke Kgcm dikalikan dengan angka 10000, sedangkan konversi dari Gaya aksial kN ke

Kg dikalikan dengan angka 100.

3. Titik Berat Penampang

Titik berat penampang kolom didasarkan atas bentuk penampang atau geometri penampang beton tanpa

memperhitungkan letak dan posisi tulangan.

4. Renggangan Serat Beton Terluar

Renggangan serat beton sisi desak terluar menggunakan nilai εu=0,003, dengan profile block beton

persegi senilai 0,85 f’c

5. Membandingkan Output

Output dari øPn & øMn EXCEL-COL dan Output øPn & øMn dari PCACOL yang berupa tabel angka

diagram interaksi dibuatkan grafik menjadi satu ploting sehingga nampak kesamaan dan perbedaanya.

Selanjutnya dihalaman berikut akan ditampilkan beberapa contoh hitungan perbandingan antara PCACOL

dan EXCEL-COL :

KESIMPULAN

Dari hasil perbandingan output grafik diagram interaksi antara EXCEL-COL dan PCACOL Nampak bahwa baik

bentuk maupun angkanya tidaklah berbeda secara signifikan, sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa program

EXCEL-COL sudah layak untuk dijadikan sebagai alat uji untuk design dan perencanaan konstruksi ataupun bagi

bahan studi untuk mahasiswa maupun praktisi.
