Monster Hunter 2 DOS

Monster Hunter 2 adalah sekuel dari Monster Hunter. Game ini hanya dirilis di Jepang

karena seri Monster Hunter hanya memiliki kultus kecil berikut tempat lain di dunia,

sementara yang besar ada di Jepang. Fitur baru meliputi perubahan siang dan malam,

perubahan musim, monster baru dan jenis senjata baru.

New Features

Able to use items while SNS is unsheathed.

Several combinations for the same combination result.

Some online items and ores from MH1 are available offline in MH2 (dragonite and firestone

Characters

Jumbo Village Chief:- A middle-aged Wyverian with a backpack of brushes and scrolls. He

provides Urgent Quests and travels around the village recording activities.

Crane Operator: A portly human who controls a wheelturn pulley crane. He offers hunters

non-quest food items for the Felyne Kitchen by beating him at arm wrestling.

Pink Dress Wyverian: A tall, beautiful lady seen walking around the village. She provides

Urgent Quests and a drinking game available only at night.

Female Blacksmith: An short, elderly Wyverian who forges weapons and armor. As the

game progresses, she gains two apprentices and gives hunters the chance to meet the

Legendary Blacksmith.

Legendary Blacksmith: An short, elderly Wyverian who appear in the fully build armor shop.

Providing an rare weapons & armours.

Bulter Felyne: A Tuxedo wearing Felyne appeared in the Hunter’s home. Providing the early

Felyne kitchen to the game.

Barber Felyne: A Felyne with an Afro & Shades, he randomly appear checking the hunter’s

item box. Providing the Hunter with various Hairstyles.

Trivia

There is no Kitchen in this game, but there is a Felyne who performs a similar function to

the Felyne kitchen. It only cooks if you provide 2 non-quest consumable food, which you

received from quest, win the minigames, or the upgraded town shops to get the status

effect like any Felyne kitchen in the game.

The Day and Night switch happens in how long you stay in the village or previous quest. In

town, there is a clock that guides on the coming day or night. Any Quest changes on which

time you depart.

There are 3 seasons which changes every few times, the Breeding seaons, Hot seasons and

Cold seasons. the hot season stops any quest involving the desert while cold season stops

any cold mountain quests. And any quest affects the monsters location and gathering items

in any of those seasons.

Kirin and Lao-Shan Lung became available offline, as Shen Gaoren, Azure Lao-Shan Lung,

Rajang, Crimson Fatalis and White Fatalis are online exclusives. Fatalis also remains as an

online-exclusive in this game.

Monster Hunter 2 DOS Combination List

The MH 2 DOS has an extra combination option which is to combine 3 items instead of just

2 as is MH 1 .Thus, the number`s of combinations has increase but most of the 3 item

combination is just and addition of one extra item to other combinations E.g.: Mega Potion

= Honey + (Herb/Day Plant) + Blue Mushroom . The success rate that is written is the rate

without the Books Of Combinations.

 Cara Menggunakan Codebreaker.iso di Emulator PS2

Saya masih ingat waktu SMA saya sangat sering menggunakan cheat dalam bermain game Playstation 2 (PS2) dan saya sangat bangga dengan itu karena memang situasi di tempat rental PS2 dekat rumah saya seperti itu, orang yang punya cheat (kami menyebutnya “rahasia”) akan menjadi idola. Itulah mengapa saya jadi terlalu sering menggunakan cheat, setiap kali ada game/kaset baru saya dan Bagoes Suhendri (sahabat saya) langsung membuka Nokia 3110c milikku atau Sony Eryccson miliknya untuk mencari cheatnya di internet. Kalau memang ada cheatnya kami langsung tertawa bangga dan menamati game itu dulu baru menyebar cheatnya. Di sana memang Cuma kami berdua yang tau cara mencari cheat yaitu melalui internet. Waktu itu internet belum marak sperti sekarang, bahkan warnet saja baru muncul setelah saya hampir kelas 3. Jadi kami merasa seperti dua orang raja game (padahal raja cheat).     Setelah punya emulator PS2, menggunakan cheat terasa sangat tidak menyenagkan. Mungkin karena saya bermain sendirian tanpa ada yang melihat. Jadi mulai saat itu saya berhenti menggunakan cheat dan ternyata lebih seru, bahkan saya mengulangi beberapa game yang dulunya saya tamati dengan menggunakan cheat. Eh… Kepanjangan curhatnya. Maaf, terbawa emosi. Hehe…     Codebreaker adalah sebuah media yang digunakan untuk melakukan cheat pada game PS2 apapun atau pada PS1 kita mengenal yang namanya “Gameshark”. Kali ini saya membuat tutorialnya khusus untuk emulator PS2 di PC/laptop dengan menggunakan Codebreaker yang berbentuk file “iso”. Di Google ada banyak cara menggunakan Codebreaker yang berbentuk file “elf”, tapi itu tidak bekerja di laptop saya (mungkin karena laptop jadul). Jadi saya coba yang iso tapi saya tidak berhasil menemukan tutorialnya. Akhirnya saya coba utak-atik sendiri dan ternyata berhasil dengan sempurna. Waktu itu saya coba game Monster Hunter 2 bajakan dan sialnya saya dapat yang versi “hacked” (hacked version), semua misi dirubah menjadi tingkat tinggi sehingga untuk pemain yang baru mencoba game ini tentu saja menjadi sangat menyulitkan. Saya mencoba kebiasaan lama yaitu mencari cheat ternyata tidak ada, jadi terpaksa mencoba Codebreaker. J Eh… Makin panjang curhatnya…

    Baiklah… Anda bisa men-download Codebreaker v10 di sini. (Ukuran file sudah dikompres sedemikian rupa, dari 1,2 Gb menjadi 4,6 Mb).

    Saya yakin di luar sana sekarang masih ada yang memainkan PS2 seperti saya. Berikut langkah-langkah menggunakannya: 1. Pastikan Game yang ingin dimainkan berada pada DVD drive. Anda bisa menggunakan Virtual Drive yang bisa dibuat dengan menggunakan Daemon Tools. 2. Buka emulator PS2, kemudian pilih “Iso” di menu CDVD. Setelah itu cari lokasi file Codebreaker.iso melalui menu CDVD --> Iso selector --> Browse. 3. Jalankan Codebreaker (System --> Boot CDVD). 4. Setelah masuk, buka menu “Select cheat”. 5. Pilih nama game yang akan anda mainkan dengan menekan X. 6. Tekan kanan (->) untuk memilih cheat, setelah selesai tekan Start. Apabila game yang ingin anda mainkan tidak ada di dalam daftar, anda bisa membuatnya sendiri dengan cara: - Tekan O pada stick - Ketik nama game. Misal: Monster Hunter 2. - Tekan Start dan game anda akan masuk dalam daftar. - Temukan game yang baru anda tambahkan lalu tekan Kanan (->) pada stick untuk menambahkan judul cheat. Misal: Master Code, Infinite Health, dll. - Pilih judul cheat lalu tekan Kanan (->) pada stick yang baru anda tambahkan untuk memasukkan code. Code bisa anda temukan di google, code setiap cheat dapat berupa 1 baris atau banyak baris code. - Anda boleh memasukkan code seperlunya saja, untuk “Master Code” itu wajib. - Setelah selesai, tandai cheat yang akan digunakan dengan menekan tombol X. - Tekan Start dan tunggu sampai proses save selesai. 7. Mulai game dengan memilih “Start Game”, kemudian akan ada pesan: “Please insert game, then press X to continue”. 8. Minimize layar game dengan klik 2x atau sekalian tutup dengan tombol ESC. 9. Pilih “Plugin” di menu CDVD, lalu pilih “Swap Disc”. (Pastikan “Plugin Menu” mengarah pada DVD drive atau Virtual Drive yang memuat game) 10. Buka kembali layar game dengan klik 2x atau melalui System --> Resume. 11. Tekan X dan game anda akan berjalan dengan cheat yang dipilih.

Catatan: Jangan terlalu banyak memilih cheat agar game tidak crash.
