ABSTRAK 

Pulau +angean se#ara administrati? termasuk dalam kabupaten %umenep! %elama ini

transportasi laut menjadi alat transportasi utama dan satu-satunya yang menghubungkan

antara %umenep dan +angean! +enyataan di lapangan saat ini banyak terjadi ke#elakaan pada

kapal-kapal yang berbahan dasar ?iberglass karena diakibatkan oleh kegetasan dari ?iberglass

yang tidak mampu menahan impa#t load yang terjadi se#ara terus-menerus yang kemudian

 berimbas pada bo#ornya lambung kapal dan Mahalnya harga komoditas pokok dan biaya

 penyebrangan kapal di kepulauan terpen#il! *al ini terjadi Pulau +angean dan penyebrangan

dari +alianget-+angean +abupaten %umenep) saha untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka

dibuatdesain kapal Penumpang (arang yang berbahan dasar baja) dimana tujuan dari desain

tersebut dapat menghasilkan desain kapal penumpang barang untuk pelayaran +alianegt-

+angean +abupaten %umenep yang ber?ungsi sebagai kapal penyeberangana! Dari analisis

yang dilakukan harus memenuhi pemeriksaan seperti hukum r#himedes) trim)  freeboard )

stabilitas) tonnage) dan memiliki harga yang minimum! Maka didapat ukuran utama yang
