A. Instalasi dan Konfigurasi MapServer for Windows 1. Instalasi dan Konfigurasi MapServer di sini menggunakan system operasi

Windows XP.

2. Siapkan file master program MapServer for Windows 1.5.5 (ms4w_1.5.5.zip)

3. Extract file master MapServer for Windows 1.5.5 (ms4w_1.5.5.zip) sehingga

hasilnya seperti Gambar 2.

4. Pindahkan direktori ms4w hasil ekstrak tadi ke root drive C: atau D:, atau lokasi

yang lain. Di sini digunakan drive C: seperti Gambar 3.

5. Edit file php.ini yang ada di C:\ms4w\Apache\cgi-bin dan uncomment

(hilangkan tanda ;) pada baris yang berisi perintah untuk meload library PHP GD

seperti gambar 4.

6. Setelah itu cari baris perintah yang berfungsi untuk mengaktifkan dukungan

MapScript seperti gambar 5.

7. Atur konfigurasi port Apache, apakah hendak menggunakan nomor port default

(80) atau nomor port yang lain. Untuk melakukannya edit file konfigurasi

httpd.conf yang ada di C:\Apache\conf seperti gambar 6.

8. Start / jalankan Apache melalui Control Panel Administrative Tools kemudian

pilih Services. Klik kanan pada service Apache MS4W Web Server dan pilih

Start.

9. Lakukan pengetesan terhadap service Apache MS4W apakah sudah dapat

melayani permintaan request dari client atau belum. Ketik pada web browser dan

masukkan URL http://localhost. Jika Apache berjalan dengan benar, maka akan

muncul tampilan seperti Gambar 8.

10. Untuk menguji instalasi PHP/MapScript apakah sudah berjalan dengan baik,

buat file test.php dan simpan di direktori C:\ms4w\Apache\htdocs. Isi dari

file test.php adalah sebagai berikut:

11. Jalankan web browser dan panggil URL http://localhost/test.php, akan tampil

keluaran seperti Gambar 9.

B. Instalasi MapLab 1. Siapkan file master program MapLab for Windows 2.2 (maplab_ms4w-2.2.zip)

2. Ekstrak file maplab_ms4w-2.2.zip sehingga hasilnya seperti Gambar 11.

Terdapat 3 direktori hasil ekstrak, yaitu: Apache, apps dan httpd.d

3. Masuk ke direktori httpd.d dan buka file httpd_maplab.conf yang ada di

dalamnya. Isi file tersebut seperti Gambar 12.

4. Salin isi file tersebut dan paste di baris paling bawah pada file httpd.conf yang

ada di C:\ms4w\Apache\conf. Isi dari file httpd.conf menjadi seperti Gambar

5. Simpan file httpd.conf dan restart service Apache MS4W.

6. Salin direktori maplab-2.2 ke C:\ms4w\Apache\apps seperti Gambar 14.

7. Buka web browser dan jalankan MapLab dengan mengetik URL

http://localhost/maplab/ (jangan lupa diakhiri dengan tanda /). Tampilan program

Maplab terlihat seperti Gambar 15.
