SYARAT UNTUK MELAMAR
BEASISWA PKPI
Dosen PTN atau PTS di lingkungan Kemenristekdikti yang telah memiliki NIDN
Mahasiswa S3 status Aktif, masa studi tidak melebihi 8 semester
Telah Lulus ujian proposal penelitian dengan promotor yang sudah bersifat Tetap
Telah mempunyai data awal yang dapat digunakan untuk penulisan artikel (manuskrip) di jurnal internasional bereputasi
Telah memiliki LoA unconditional atau letter of invitation
Mempunyai kemampuan bhs. Inggris setara TOEFL-ITP minimal 500 atau IELTS minimal 5.5
CARA PENDAFTARAN
1. Mengisi lamaran secara online:
http://beasiswa.dikti.go.id/pkpi
2. Mengunggah berkas-berkas
(seperti LoA, surat ijin mengikuti seleksi
beasiswa PKPI dari pimpinan Pascasarjana,dll)
yang dipersyaratkan pada laman pendaftaran
online

WAWANCARA
TUJUAN INTERVIEW :
1. Untuk memastikan apakah kualifikasi calon sesuai dengan persyaratan
yang diminta oleh:
- program yang akan ditempuh
- pemberi beasiswa
2. Untuk memprediksi tingkat keberhasilan program
3. Untuk melihat keselarasan beasiswa yang disediakan dengan
penyelesaian target sudi yang akan ditempuh.
4. Untuk mengidentifikasi potensi, persiapan dan motivasi dalam
menyelesaikan studi
5. Mendapatkan informasi pribadi tambahan dari kandidat yang
mendorong kesuksesan program
INTERVIEW INTRODUCTION
Interviews may last anywhere from 5 minutes to several hours, but most interviewers have made their decision after the first 5 minutes.
First impressions are critical! Use the following techniques to guarantee you make a good one.

Be polite
Address your interviewer as Mr. _______ or Mrs. until they ask you to do something different
Stand and wait to sit until you are asked to
Shake your interviewer`s hand in a strong and confident way
A weak handshake is a big mistake!

NON-VERBAL STRATEGIES
Much of your communication is based not on what you say, but on how you stand, how you look, where you stand, etc.
These call non-verbal strategies

Eye Contact
Maintain strong eye contact when listening and when speaking
This shows you are both interested and confident

Facial expressions
Smile!
Keep a neutral or positive facial expression.
Practice in the mirror or on a video tape to see how you can improve your natural expression

Posture
Stand tall, walk tall, and sit tall.
Shows the interviewer are confident
You may lean forward at times to show you are interested

Limit gestures/body language
Using too many gestures will make you seem like a cartoon character
Keep gestures to a minimum

Personal space
Be aware of your own and others’ personal space.
Stand your ground, but don’t invade other people’s space

Take your time
If you do not understand the question, ask the interviewer to repeat it.
If you are not sure about the answer, take a moment to think about it

Be specific
One of the worst mistakes is being too general
Answer interviewers questions with specific stories and examples

When asked a question, include the
following information in your answer:
A specific situation
The tasks that needed to be done
The action you took
The results i.e. what happened

There is no right or wrong answer to a
question, only how the answer is received by
the interviewer
Answer in a confident way and the interviewer

SKORING DALAM INTERVIEW
Pembuatan skoring :
- Status Perguruan Tinggi yang dituju
- Data pelamar (umur, status kepegawaian, ijin atasan)
- Kemampuan bahasa asing ( skore bhs, jenis test, bahasa lain, dll)
- LOA (masa berlaku, status pembimbing, spesialisasi pembimbing)
- Manuskrip
- Kepribadian pelamar ( motivasi, pengalaman hidup, adaptasi)
- Lamanya program dan tuition fee
Interview dalam bahasa Inggris (dalam waktu 20 – 30 menit)
BE PREPARED TO ANSWER SUCH QUESTIONS AS:
EXAMPLE
Tell me about yourself?
Tell me about your background, accomplishments?
What interests you about the scholarship?
What outside activities are most significant to your personal development?
PhD progress issues and achievements to date. Discussion of proposal and how past work will fit into work to be done now.
Where does the candidate see the award fitting into their future goals?
What interested the candidate in coming into this field?
What other financial resources does the candidate have available?
NEVER CLOSE THE DOOR ON AN OPPORTUNITY
Do show enthusiasm. If you are interested in the opportunity,
enthusiastic feedback can enhance your chances of being furthered
considered. If you are not interested, your responsiveness will still
demonstrate your professionalism.
Don't forget to bring a copy of your resume! Keep several copies in your
briefcase if you are afraid you will forget.
Don't answer with a simple "yes" or "no." Explain whenever possible.
Describe those things about yourself which relate to the situation.
NEVER CLOSE THE DOOR ON AN
OPPORTUNITY
Don't lie. Answer questions truthfully, frankly and succinctly.
Don't make unnecessary derogatory remarks about your
present or former employers or lecturers, students.
Don't over-answer questions.
TIPS PREPARATION FOR INTERVIEW
Arrive 10-15 minutes.
Dress professionally.
Shake hands firmly and greet everyone you meet in a professional and friendly manner.
Smile and sit up straight during the interview.
Make eye contact with all interviewers.
Be confident, enthusiastic, and poised.

3. Provision of real life examples to demonstrate answers
4. Clear career plan or motivation
5. Enthusiastic and passionate about the role
6. Prepare questions in advance to ask the interviewer
