Puji dan syukur penulis panjatkan kehadapan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,
karena atas karunianya, akhirnya penulis dapat menyelesaikan Tugas Akhir yang
berjudul “Aplikasi Marching Percussion Berbasis Android”. Laporan ini
disusun sebagai syarat untuk memenuhi sebagian persyaratan menyelesaikan
Program Sarjana S-1 pada Jurusan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Udayana.
Dalam penyusunan Tugas Akhir ini, penulis mendapatkan petunjuk dan
bimbingan dari berbagai pihak. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut pada kesempatan

ABSTRAK
Marching Percussion merupakan salah satu dari bagian alat pada
Marching Band. Marching percussion digunakan sebagai pengatur tempo dari
penampilan satu tim marching band. Pemain perkusi harus mengerti ketukan lagu
yang akan dimainkan sehingga diperlukan alat bantu praktis untuk melatih
ketukan atau tempo lagu. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibuatlah sebuah
aplikasi berbasis android sebagai media pengenalan dasar dari marching
percussion dan cara menggunakannya. Aplikasi Marching Percussion
menggunakan metode multitouch agar user dapat melakukan fungsi double touch
selayaknya alat asli. Aplikasi ini merupakan media pembelajaran tentang
instrumen-instrumen perkusi marching band dan berdasarkan pendapat 30
koresponden, 94,95% menyatakan aplikasi ini layak untuk dijadikan media
berlatih bagi pemula.

ABSTRACT
Marching Percussion is one of the instrument section in marching band.
Marching percussion is used to set the beat of the song on the marching band
show. Percussion players must understand about the whole part of the songs, so
it’s needed to have an easier tools to train the beat of the song. Based on these
problems, an android based application has been built as a media to introduce the
basic of marching percussion and how to use them. Marching Percussion
Application uses a multitouch metode that help the user to play the application as
a real instrument. This application is a learning media of the percussion
instrument of marching band and based on the statements of 30 correspondents,
94,95% stated that this application is very worthy to be an exercise tool for the
beginner.
