Dioda di pasang forward directionarus mengalir (lampu akan ON)
lapisan P (anoda) dihubungkan + baterailapisan N (katoda) dihubungkan - baterai

Dalam melakukan pengukuran kelistrikan diperlukan suatu alat listrik :
1. Ampermeter (mengukur arus listrik)2. Voltmeter (mengukur tegangan Listrik) 3. Ohm meter (untuk mengukur nilai tahanan listrik)
Dari ketiga alat pengukuran listrik itu kita kenal dengan Multitester
Dalam pengunaan alat ukurlistrik perlu diperhatikantata cara pengunaannya, batas maksimal yang dapatdiukur,supaya alat ukur tidakmenjadi rusak :
