Chidi Ezeobi was born in Nigeria. He has completed his early education at Augata High School in Anambra State, Nigeria. He was fond of writing from the beginning. After spending a great section of his life in Nigeria, he migrated to the United States in 1996 . Later, he went on to earn his AAS in Business Administration at Kingsborough Community College, New York. Apart from it, he has also completed his BSC in Professional Law at Medgar Evers College in New York. Excellence was always a standard to measure his work. Throughout his career, he learned the nuances of writing. Sooner after learning every detail and observing what and what not to see, a great writer was ready to serve theworld.

Chidi E.O. Ezeobi has written four books, which are The Forgotten Princess and the Shark, UDI and the Animals, Sledgehammer Sentence, and Remind the World: Poems from Prison. All of them were a result of his distinctive vision and perspective.

In his book “The Forgotten Princes and the Shark,” he shows a story of a princess born to an indigent family in the Ulom Kingdom. This story covers the stubbornness of a king and the undying love of a princess’s family for her. At the end of the story, she a shark saves her and raises her in the ocean. A lot of lovable moments have been narrated in this book by the writer.

In his next book, “Udi and the Animals,” the writer tries to raise his voice against the atrocities committed by humans on animals. It also shows the love he carries for animals in his heart. In his other “Sledgehammer Sentence,” he tries to depict the experiences of a person when he is far and alone. All these compositions reflect the love he carries for nature in his heart. 

Remind the World: Poems from Prison

This poem is very interesting. I have read it twice. Very informative on what life is like behind bars. I will recommend this poem. The book is an evocative book that tells you how the life in prison is, where you don't have control of your own very self, instead all about you is being controlled by authority.    

 Every book of his beautifully depicts a different point of view. He firmly believes that there are different angles to see the world and understand something new. Being a writer, he feels blessed to see the world in a different way. Thoughts like these help him to think differently, and characteristics like these make him different from others. He is a creative writer who has come with deep and different messages through his books. His vision of life is different from others.
